Oooh, Bearskin, you jogged my memory--owww, but thank you, a wrinkle in the brain is better than a wrinkle in the forehead. I DO remember reading somewhere (NO, I don't remember where, darn it) that the most recent engine/update/"something" of Mcafee didn't play nice with ME! I don't remember the details because I use XP, but you might have hit the nail on the head. Kev, maybe try uninstalling Mcafee and trying AVG or Avast like Bearskin suggested and see if your idiot box behaves better. Liz

Son spends hours playing around in here--it's a Soccer......"thing" SundayLeague Liz

Oh, wow, Macmarauder, that is going to be one great project! Good idea using caulk for patching. Can't wait to see what you do with it My Dad had old electric trains--no idea what happened to them, he probably gave them all to a nephew. All I remember is that we had them in Chicago set up in the basement and we didn't have them once we moved to Michigan Dreary, dreary, dreary day......still raining with maybe a break on Tuesday and back to rain. I need sun! Liz

Hondaboy, your pic does NOT creep me out.... Lots of neat sites there. You guys are so creative! *slaps head and gasps when finding out how young Danny is*, gosh, you "young'uns" are so brilliantly talented! Keep up the great work for us "tech-befuddled old folks" Liz

I know that running a forum is a lot of work and I also know that Drew got real, real busy with his job and his new sweetie--which is GOOD for him!! I've gotten way too busy, too--kids, garden and "nut with a walker" have taken too much of my time and I've only been able to read *occasionally* and haven't taken the time to post at my haunts like I should. Wishing him the very best and throwing him my deepest gratitude. Gosh, he knows soooo much about this confusing thing we call "tech". Liz

Love it. Oh well, I don't have $4million anyways... Liz

Oh my gosh, Dragon--what a bunch of snobs. I wouldn't want to live in such a place! A big thing in our local "associations" is that they outlawed clotheslines. Now, most of these homes are near Lake Michigan and have pools....so where do the families hang their wet towels and bathingsuits? On the deck railings and fences....What is tackier, hanging towels on a fence or on a clotheline? Crazy, just crazy.... My rant. Our Dollar Store is going out of business Need to find a new place to buy my tylenol and vacuum bags. Liz

Had to do the same investigating not long ago with my kids, Martin! At the bank that my kids have their savings accounts, they got an ATM card and make withdrawls using that--no charge when used at the bank's machine. Son has automatic paycheck deposit from work, which makes things easy--he just takes out what he needs using the ATM. I called around to many different banks. The question I asked was "how low could the balance go" before there are maintenance fees. College kids have a habit of nearly emptying their accounts when tuition bills arrive. The bank that gave me the best deal with

World's stupidist neighbor. Now if I were your neighbor, I'd certainly be as nice as possible. Next snowstorm you just might plow my driveway heh, I like the tarp idea--a tarp is much uglier than a plow! Liz

"Pete, good point with the A/C issue. I'd never thought about that before. Hmm, why hasn't that been mentioned in the hybrid commercials? " *whispers* because they wouldn't be able to sell them! Shhhhh, it's a secret Liz
