Oh, yeah, Shanenin! Didn't know you had kids. That's the ticket! And Limewire, too. But, MommaLiz says you have to tell the kids, no pron! Sweepstakes.com comes up on a Google Search I've read that Poker Party is a nasty. Oh! Gator and Wild Tangent. Liz

I've been seeing a LOT of posts in the Malware section about Sweepstakes.com. Wondering--how does this cootie get on folk's computers? Is it something that is downloaded on purpose and folks don't realize it's a cootie? (I googled it and there is a sweepstakes.com site--no, I didn't click on it! ) Does it come attached with stuff downloaded from Kazaa etc, from infected webpages, email attachments? And is there anything one can do to prevent their computers from catching this cootie? Really just curious (and it will give me "educated ammo" to nag the kids with... ) Thanks, Liz

Kinda like when you're in a store, can't find something, hunt and hunt, finally ask someone.... And it's right in front of you! Glad you found your answer quickly Liz

Agreed with Naraku that there needs to be a sticky, reminding folks that submissions must be family friendly. How about "The Studio"? I like Pat's "Talent Showcase", too. Or just plain "Showcase"? And Hondaboy's "The Arts", although if you were to tweak one of your suggestions to "The Beatnick Euro Beret board"..... Good luck with your exams, Jeff! Crack those books, make us proud! And remember, school comes before Boards! Liz

ROFLing! Ohhhh, that's good...copy, paste, email and thanks! Liz

That does sound good--now from reading this, the "beer vapors" flavor the chicken, since the beer stays in the can, right? (well, unless after gulping half the beer, I tip the can-leg-tripod) Why did the chicken cross the road? To prove to the possum it CAN be done! Liz

Never heard of Beer Can Chicken. You'll have to give us a full report....and the recipe Liz

It's............Heavenly (as she ducks from folks throwing cafe utensils at her. Not the forks, NOT the forks!) Don't know how hot it got today, but it had to be in the mid-upper 80's (I'll know when I watch the news tonight). We did have a good stiff breeze today. Picked Strawberries, went to High School Open Houses, enjoyed the outside! Yup, I love it hot and humid Liz

Ahhh, I don't know much about tech, but I sold carpeting! With todays manmade materials, static electricity is greatly reduced (wool carpeting was the real static culprit) Olefin carpets (commercial grade and many berbers) are almost static free. My concern with the tower being placed on carpet would be dust. Liz

Plain and simple..."Tech Help" (assuming "Tech for Dummies" is copywrited by the Dummiefolks) Liz

Great idea, but Matt, we have a Cafe! BUT, a subforum in OC would be a good idea, just needs a different name...I was thinking "The Gallery", but that seems like it would limit postings to strictly visual art....needs a title that would encompass everything artsy. Hmmm, "Inspiration Corner", "Humanities 101", "The BT Music/Writing/Art Gallery" perhaps?? (I know we probably can't use my term, Artsiefart ) Come on folks, put your thinking caps on for a great name! For now, Hondaboy, if you find something inspiring, post it in "Open Chat" or "On the Web"--they seem like good spots. I wan

You ARE a knight in shining armor, Macmarauder. Read this The Old Phone YOU are Information Please and more important than you'll ever realize! As with Sara, YES, you should open her eyes to how Pat is treating her and let her know that she could do so much better. Just today, I had a conversation with Daughter about her ex. She said she wished her girlfriends had told her exactly what a jerk and user he was! Of course, I knew he was a jerk, but couldn't say anything. When that stuff comes from Momma, it just pushes them closer together and I spent 2 years biting my tongue. Kids don't li
