  1. "I just plugged in my keyboard and it stopped working" My favorite ever - the dummy deleted OS files
  2. My only advice: Driverguide.com Just use user: drivers password: all That site is starting to go downhill lately with pop-ups and stuff, it's real disappointing
  3. This has to be done in special "Clean Rooms" to ensure that even the smallest particle of dust doesn't get in there, because that single particle that DOES get by can destroy the platters. So you don't mean my bedroom? I'm sure my room definitly doesn't have dust in it </sarcasm>
  4. yeah! Command prompt stuff! I've been looking for these (without ever searching - it was more of a want )
  5. thanks so far, but I really need to know is how to get out of this what i need. Let's say I'm checking for the voltage on a circuit. What setting would I set it to to find out the voltage? (this and other scenarios)
  6. I would never mod or mess with my cell phone (sony k750i) in any way - it cost me $400 and its my baby But that's never stopped me from messing with my cell phone accessories! BTW, clear case PC's really aren't that bad. I've worked with one at work before and you just have to be very careful
  7. Here are some specific questions" Starting from the top (moving clockwise) what does do each of the sections measure? By section I am referring to the colored off areas
  8. Hello all I purchased a digital multimeter through eBay, the instructions came in Chinese, and I have no clue how to work with this thing (it's different than the one I use at work) Here is the overall shot Many more pics on the actual auction I'm sure this is like other multimeters so somebody help me out so I can use this thing!
  9. My whole purchase was $100 American - that included the XPS 900 kit (corded) with 4 attatchments and then a $20 accessories kit. There was another XPS 900 kit for $100 with additional accessories included. Corded is fine, I'm glad I didn't get it cordless because of the cost. All else fails - hit up the eBay
  10. I'm happy with my circle cutter and flex shaft - just get what comes with the kit
  11. You can do it without breaking glass - just be patient and sand it down with one of those green stones that come with a dremel - i did it last night with a bottle and it looks much better
  12. Go 64, no point in building something that will be obsolete in a year
  13. Be sure to use standoffs for your motherboard

    Cheap Led's?

You can buy Christmas lights and take out the LEDs, although its not really Christmas season right now. http://digg.com/mods/Inexpensive_and_Abundant_LEDs Save $5, but waste 5 hours -eBay is looking better and better
  15. In that case, the Aspires are cool - I've always been a fan of more "normal" looking cases (ironically, I like to mod EVERYTHING else)
  16. Here's my plan... I have a subwoofer enclosure with 4 air holes (on the top, opening upwards) My plan is to wire in one LED into each one (on a switch) so that the LED's themselves are hidden, but they backlight the box and the roof of the car. I already have a 12 volt line running to the back of my car - so the plan is: 12 volt line from dash, series circuit featuring 4 LED's (all wires run through the box itself) on my switch in the front Once I finish homework I believe I will start up the project, taking pictures of course
  17. I really really like the Thermaltake Soprano' and the Cooler Master Centurion also on blue
  18. Nope - they're all yanks, I've only lived in the south for 10 years (orginally Chicago) To clarifiy myself, all my lights are inside - I would never dare putting outside neons on a 95 Chevy Blazer. All I can say is that after high school football games I'd get out to my car - sit in the parking lot waiting for traffic to move, blast music and lights - and watch all the black girls come rolling up to the truck (I'm not joking)
