Mmmmm, I seen that one, but it was a few years ago. (always watch them kind with the wife). I can't remember it to much. But I do believe it was one of the better movies I've seen. Now you got me going. I'll have to pick it up and rewatch it to refreash my memory.

If you can find the movie "Pirates of Silicon Vally" It tells the story of how Bill Gates gets his start and moves up in the world. How he came up with DOS. (Paid the original programmer 50K, then sold the idea to IBM. But kept the rights to it). That's what set him on his way. How he bought the "Mouse" from a programmer after IBM laughed them out of the office. How he stoled the "Windows operating system" from Apple and launched it on the eve of Apples releasing it. It is a good movie. Well worth watching.

Thanks Pat Also for the tip of not saying "Go ahead and shoot" when she's mad. LOL No, I'm the only one who uses the PC 99% of the time. She kills them. On my old PC, I could be on for hours doing three things at once and never a problem. She would sit down and BAM!!! It would freeze right up. So I built my own pc, one more then capable of any type of gaming or multi-tasking. Running great. She sits down and BAM!!! Freezes right up. So now she believes she's bad luck on the computer. But that's OK, I never have to fight for time using it.

Yes a reboot is just going to the start menu, clicking on shutdown and then choosing to restart instead of shutting down. Sometimes it helps with upgrades to reboot your pc to get them to integrate into the system. Sometimes that helps.

Have you tried placing aluminum foil in your attic, and taping your cable to the rain gutters with scotch tape? If that doesn't work, put on a bright yellow rain coat and run around your house 3 times counterclockwise repeating the words. "Thanks for all the fish" NO seriously. I hope you get the problems cleared up. I know what it's like when you can't get connected. So I wish you good fortune. And hope they figure it out.

All the stations around here have become BP stations. Becoming a big monopoly. Used to be you could go from one town to another and find a few cent variance. But not anymore. I becoming a part of a diminishing group. Tomorrow I celebrate 26 years of marriage. Quite an task in this day and age. Most of the people I grew up with have called it quites long ago. Or are on their second and third try. It was hard for awhile. But once I figured out everything I did or said was wrong and she was right about everything made all the difference.....LOL No really. We've had are ups and downs. But we managed to work through them. Sometimes I wonder how. But that's the way one has to play the game. One day at a time. And admitting your wrong (even when your not) helps....LOL W

I have a good example of a monopoly. As long as I can remember. (were talking 35+ years). In my area, we had S.D. cable. (tv only). That was it. No other competition. They controlled it all. They would raise their price when they felt like it. If you were late by a week in your payment they cut you off. Then you had to pay a reconnect fee. I one time paid my bill on the final day it was due....and three days later they were up on the pole shutting me off. I went over with the paid bill and told them it was paid and on time. He said I have my orders and shut me off. Called and complained. The

Not to criticize how the children react. But have you tried playing some of todays video games? It's no wonder they are indifferent with the type of killing they do on most of those games. Seeing bodies floating by is a part of alot of the games. And that's the mellow stuff.
