Well, I always figured if they never report back. Then it must of worked or they'd be asking for more help. But your right. Not only here but everywhere it would be nice if they said it works and thank you. But most of the time, those seeking help turn to message boards only when they need the help and then never go back to one. I was the same way. Untell I found the original TTV on ZDTV (and followed to TechTV). That was the first board I started and kept coming back to. Now I frequent many. But only two I ever considered a Home. TTV and now BTs here.

Any delivery person (mail, UPS, Fed Ex and etc.) cringe in fear when they stop at my place because of Samson's attitude. You can see the detest in his eyes and snarl when these people approach. A few times he has broken his cable and gone after them. He has never bitten anyone but me for trying to punish him. I believe he did this out of perceived fear due to my snarl and the evil look in my eyes. This mean ass mutt has one tiny thing that scares him immensely. One strike of lightning and this 70 pound nasty fuzzball starts whimpering and tries to crawl in my lap. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> T

I understand having so much on your plate that some things just don't quite get done (especially if you use less experienced help), but it's definitely a personality flaw of his to lay any blame at your feet. Just smile and say, "I know you'll be able to get this taken care of, and we'll see you on <such-and-such>." That sentence will say a lot; It reminds him he is the one responsible for the problem, it avoids the implication he's part of the problem, it encourages him to resolve the problem by suggesting you have confidence he'll take care of it, and it reminds him of when it must be

And now I see that thanks to Rita, The levee broke again. So now their getting hit by a double dose. And I know for a fact that the insurance companies never tell anyone about the different types of flood insurance. I just hope our government will step in and do something about the insurance companies. They have, for to long set the rules and changed them to meet their needs. If you don't believe me. Just get into an accident with your car. Most companies will drop your coverage rather then pay. Or get the full cost and then some when the triple your rates. Now insurance companies really need

We went camping and tried placing Raid Pads (the ones your supposed to wipe on yourself) on the corners of the picnic table. It looked like a living tissue. There were hundreds on flies, bees, and everyother kind of pest flocking to them. Never seen any die. But now we know how to get them somewhere else. Just put them 20 or 30 feet from where your at. And they'll flock to em.

Let me guess. It'll go down in history as another Pacer.

I know where you're comming from JDoors. I live on a corner lot. And have to take care of 100ft. X 100ft of sidewalk. (not counting whats in my yard). And I have one of those neighbors to. Not the "can't get sued, but the lazy type). And if they do, half gets throwed on my sidewalk. If I say something, they look at my like I'm from another world. Really P****s me off sometimes. (Rant) Lawyers!!!!!!!!! Enough said on this subject. Speaks for it's-self.......LOL(rant/)

I just watched the landing on Fox News. My hats off to the pilot. He did a fantastic job landing the plane. And they said the passengers also watched the landing on the planes TV system live. I wonder what was going through their minds watching it. Knowing you were possible watching your own last few seconds on earth. Gives one something to think about.

I have heard other stories of this type from volunteer Firefighters from my area that went down there to help. Not quite as dramatic, but on the same level. If what they said and the author of the letter says is even a half truth. (And I have known some of those that were sent down for many years) Then it is a sad affair. I'm not speaking out of first hand eye witness account, but as one who has heard this from some who were there. And I am sorry, but I do believe those whom I have known.
