Ooooh, sending this to Son (Buckwheat, and not Marsh's cat ) He will absolutely love this (if he hasn't discovered it already, that is) Thanks! Liz

XX and Marty seem to be on the right track, but I read once about someone with the same problem and it ended up being a short in the power button on the case (I tend to remember the "unusual problems"!). Liz

And they walk among us.....Love it, Deafgirl, thanks! liz

Little boys, gotta love 'em! Good one Screi, thanks! Liz

A friend of yours, Macmarauder? So you were the one who told Greenswyzl how gullible I am? (are there really no fireflies in Colorado??) And Green, never take me seriously except for a hearty welcome to BT's from me! Looking forward to getting to know you better! Liz
-
No Fireflies?!??!? You're kidding me, right? OK, who told Greenswyzl how gullible I am? And by the way, welcome to BT's, Green! Liz

*slaps head* Oh, Marty, marty, marty.....and I HAVE to send that one on! Thanks! Liz

*waves* to Tymekyller, Marsh, too! Good to hear from you. Tyme, give those babies a big hug for me. Liz

I'm with Joe! Hoo boy, that could have been so much worse. So glad you and the house are ok! Liz

That was a GREAT question, Mark! Thank you, as I was wondering that myself. (same "rule of thumb" for flash drives?) Liz

From the mouths of babes....Love it, Bozodog! Thanks Liz

Classics! Pshaw, I could never spell DIARRHEA, either....in fact I copied and pasted that word.... Good one, Shadow! Liz

Winks and grins right backatcha, Brian and raises my glass! *Skol!!* (that's "cheers" in Danish...) Wow, what a pain to be "left in the dark" about the whole apartment thing! Keep being a squeaky wheel--if you've been a good renter, your landlord should accomodate your suggestions. After all, when you do move out, you'll be leaving an apartment perfectly suited for folks with wheels. Very important "renting point" nowadays. And the builder should appreciate your suggestions, too--accomodating wheelchairs is often foreign to builders and the more they learn, the better they will be for futur

Wow...wow and more wows...what a list! I copied and printed your first post (my Son will absolutely LOVE this!) And you're right about the lack of reading involved with these "new fangled operating systems". I learned computers while working, using DOS before mice were invented--you HAD to read what was on the monitor. And it took a Dummies Book and lots of "head scratching" to figure out what all those little pictures were on my first computer (Windows98). Oh, how my kids screwed things up by "pointing and clicking" without reading what they were doing.....and of course, they call me par

Ahhhh, see? There's hope for me yet! (OK , I'm lying....) Liz

Well, that was quick....How do you like it? Is the 32" tv an RCA as well? Don't know about today's tvs, but our RCA is 19 years old--not cable ready, no remote--but still works perfectly. Liz

I got it, Bubbabob! Now that made me laugh harder than the joke did (smartypants!) Liz
-
Oh, I can relate to that! At least she knew she needed it....I can't even open my hood Liz

Just2good, I don't have an answer but you're right about this place being the best for finding answers! You might want to also copy and paste your question in the electronics forum, too....couldn't hurt! right here! Liz

Very cool project, xx! And glad you're enjoying your new toy As for cutting circles, hold the dremel like a pencil, don't grip it like a drill. If you can, place your pinkie finger on the work surface as an anchor to hold your hand steady. Ah....darned legos! 4 years of Art College, I can draw or make anything, restoring my house....give me anything made of legos and it instantly explodes in my hands. I can't even achieve the "cube". No wonder that at Legoland in Denmark, they often have kids build the structures as they have more patience than adults! Liz

Oh, my Hubby got such a laugh when I read him this one! Thanks, Marty, sending that one on (hey....what about Kiwis and Aussies?) Liz
-
Words of Wisdom, Marty and so true! I liked this one 5) Laughing is good exercise. It's like jogging on the inside Sending that one on and thanks! Liz
-
Yeah, bettin' that would work, Marty! Good one! Our method was a daughter who loved to climb up on her Daddy's lap. She had very well placed knees! *and for dialup users, it's a video-cartoon-type-thing, loaded fast for me, but I'm on cable* Liz

Yeah! He's baaaaaccckkk! Ah, there you are, now I instantly recognise you! Thank you I never made a connection with Apple, (Apple has lightning bolts?) I just look at Avatars before I look at names--that "right brain" thing, I guess (or is it "left brain"? Which side is the creative/artsy side? Bahhh, Ambidextrous folks don't know left from right!) Liz

Love it, Tman and sending that one on! Thanks Liz
