That's great, Vikitty! If you could PM Jimras with your solution, I betcha he'd appreciate it, he's had an awful time attempting SP2! OK, Ram problem, Photoshop, no answers here, just butting in to congratulate the SP2 accomplishment and welcome Vikitty to BT's! I know, I know, "Liz, stick with the topic, will'ya??" Ram problem, Photoshop!! Liz

And that thread is getting noticed and "borrowed from" already! Thanks, Jeff Liz

Crossed off "whishkey" added chocolate Sorry, Terrorist, never liked the stuff! Wait, added coffee, too! Liz

Well, with me, it isn't the subject of the email, but the amount of people I send it to---if I put ten names in the address bar, it will cause the "are you sure you know what you're doing?" box to pop up. I don't know what the limit is with my system, but 10 addresses is too many Liz

Thank you, Jeff. You are so accomodating! Looking forward to the "next new thing" AND Fubz made some awesome gadgets (I assume they're programming inventions) When you do open the new subforum, can you add this so it doesn't get lost around here? His work is amazing! Thanks. Here, here, here! Liz

Oooh, that sounds good, Brandon! I had to reformat a computer due to malware cooties--296 of 'em to be exact-- and that is a job that I (and the people here that I pestered to death with my dumb questions) never, ever want to do again. I'm checking it out. Edit! I checked it out....folks, if you have been infested with a Cootie, write the name down and check out this site to file a complaint. Bellyaching will at least make you feel better for all the work you and the helpers here had to do to clean up your idiot box. And they need malware expert folks who speak languages other than Engli

Love it! Sending that one on...thanks, Bozodog Liz

Good lists, Jim and Pat! Why can I remember things from 20 years ago but can't remember why I walked into this room? Liz

Pshaw....I've been saying "why can I remember things from 5 years ago but can't remember why I walked into this room" since I was a teenager! Oooh, need to add that one to the "why why why" list Liz

LOL!! Oh how I love the corny ones! Sending that one on, thanks, Bozodog Liz

Hi Tony and welcome! I've had the pleasure of reading a few of your posts while poking around here and I know your input will be welcome here. Look around, kick your feet up and enjoy. Hope to hear a lot more from you. Liz

But Rock, the first thing Colonel wrote in his reply was that the problem still persists. Any other ideas on how to fix his glitch? I'm not supposed to be posting in here...backs out slowly Liz

Is there something in your Antivirus that could be hindering it? Have you tried sending the email to just one address that you KNOW is good? My AV will pop a message box if I send an email to "too many people"....some Trojan Protection feature or something. Liz

I was waiting for the "can you hear me now?....good" jokes to kick in Liz

No, no, no, Marty, you don't have exclusive rights to Mental Blocks, you have to share them with me! Liz

Ahh, social skills...piece of cake for some, a big challenge for others. It takes guts, not being afraid to smile, open you mouth and say something that might be percieved as stupid. Once you cross that barrier and survive, you're on the road! It isn't even painful. I used to be really shy until I got a job as a grocery cashier where I HAD to conquer that feeling of being afraid to say anything. That kind of job is a great place to practice social skills--a job at a store, restaurant, gas station, receptionist, hotel front desk--all involve talking to the public. In the meantime, get invo

JD, do ALL your emails get bounced back or only a few? Liz

I'm going to sound like a real old person now (which I suppose I am, but I'm not as old as Antonio and Marty )....but a month is merely a blink of an eye--think about it, 1/12 of a year.....a teeny tiny fraction of your life. Right now it seems like an eternity, I know, but give it more time! One month is not enough time to get over pain, and it shows that you are a great guy! It's the shallow guys that get over things quickly. And it's the shallow guys that turn females off. BUT the one month mark means good things are right around the corner! Give yourself another month and I bet you'll

Way to go TicToc and Congratulations! You are lucky as I'll never pester you. I don't do Linux, too techy. (the Windows Experts here will certainly tell you that you are lucky!) Private jet?? Liz

Fubz, I know where you're at. Get out there, meet other girls, learn, live, experience, go crazy (women will do that to you!) You never know what will happen. I "brushed off" a guy and 10 years later I married him. BUT the dating I did inbetween was so valuable, I learned so much, I grew so much as a person and even had fun! Get out there, hon, you have a lot to offer! You might just end up meeting the love of your life and it will be someone else and you'll thank God she did "brush you off". Life is sometimes a roll of a dice. Liz

Happy Birthday Pat! Hope you have a terrific day! Liz

Oooh, it's the Schizophrenic Cat artist!! Old info, but I know this! (I was SUPPOSED to be an Art Therapist after college) OK, keep scrolling , folks, I'm just running amuck and off tangent again.... Wow, glad my Dad doesn't live in Japan. He's gotten more old gadgets from yard sales. Only person I know who has 7 televisions and only one was bought brand new....not to mention the VCRs he uses to hook the "non cable ready TVs" up to his Cable! Wondering if Japan has yard sales.... Liz

Sounds like you've had blustery weather, too, Pat! I didn't use our woodstove during high winds, either. Either I'd stoke it and fill the house with smoke or worry about something flaming flying out of the chimney! We finally unhooked our stove when we got our new "high efficiency furnace". The drop in homeowners insurance was more than the money we saved running it.....However, this year is different! Don't dare re-hook it, though, not without insurance coverage and my luck! And the story about all the sirens! Our area rarely makes the news, but I hate it when something wild is going on

You are right about the new names on board at G4--Many of the "regulars" still post, but a big influx of new folks there, too-- Liz
