Just as I thought. Good concept. I hope it functions well. You wouldn't believe how many times I could have used this on some of the machines I get.

Good to hear. I have so many of these tip sites in my XP folder that it takes awhile to find what I'm looking for. -
Does this allow multiple files to be deleted on reboot or single?

Hard Drive Icon Corrupted
TheTerrorist_75 replied to StealthG's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I found the solution for this. Incorrect or generic Windows icon displayed for a Drive in My Computer -
Sure thing. I'll send it to you once its done being written and has been fully tested. I won't post the tool or the source on the forums however because, if the tool is used incorrectly, the user could delete needed system files. If anyone else is interested, let me know, give me a good reason, and I might send it to you

Maybe because it is a hidden/protected section of the registry? Isn't that part of regedt32 (no i) and not regedit?

Hard Drive Icon Corrupted
TheTerrorist_75 replied to StealthG's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
? Number 237 on left side Change Hard Drive Icon in Explorer. Have you tried removing the drive in Device Manager and rebooted to see if the drive gets re-detected correctly? If it doesn't get detected automatically try mounting the drive in Computer Management > Disc Management. -
Nightmare ! System Maintenance
TheTerrorist_75 replied to melodi's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
If I had Norton on a PC I would download and use another anti-virus application that didn't use real time scanning for manual scans. Norton's is crap. I like Panda's ability to do a thorough scan in a timely manner. Nod and Kaspersky would both suffice. I don't believe in scheduling scans or updates. Panda is fine for auto-updating virus definitions multiple times daily. These updates are quick and do not interfere with what I am doing at the time. Windows Update is disabled on my machine. I wait to see if there are any issues with the new updates before enabling the service and manually down -

If you never set an Administrator password all you do is leave that box blank and press <Enter>. You will then be able to access the Recovery Console.
