  1. Right now Medicaid still pays for most of the cost for my meds. They stick with you for a year after going back to work. They will continue to provide some support after that period if my wages are not enough to cover my living expenses and the meds. My monthly meds cost has gone down from $3800 per month retail in the beginning. The major cost is for my anti-rejection medicine. As time goes by they reduce the dosage. The biggest concern is my health insurance through the state. Once I make too much income it will end. For me to get health insurance after may be very difficult because of my pr
  2. Believe it or not Samsung is one of the major memory manufacturers. They actually make memory for other big name memory suppliers who just rebrand with their name.
  3. I just researched my meds at that pharmacy and would only save less than $100 per month compared to retail cost here. With a pharmacy discount card from where I buy my meds I could save just over $200 of retail. As it stands no matter what I do my meds will run me over $1000 per month. Retail is $1386.
  4. I donate to charities that have had a long time standing within my community, the hospital that did my transplant, local fire departments and to those law enforcement charitable agencies that I have cleared with my local law enforcement members.
  5. They believe they can, but getting paid is another issue.
  6. I am enjoying a couple of rain days and waiting for materials to be delivered on the next big job. Darn banks are slow releasing money to their customers who want to do home improvement. I have a couple of small jobs that will take about a day to complete to fill in while waiting, but they take more time travelling to than doing actual work. Let the party begin!!!
  7. I believe on some motherboards the larger stick of memory is supposed to go in the first slot.

  10. I had only used the Google toolbar for blocking popups in IE. Now that IE has it's own popup blocker Google's isn't needed. I rarely use IE anyhow so it was no great loss removng Google. My IE homepage is set to Google and the homepage I created and use in Opera has a Google search box within it.

  13. Google Toolbar Notifier; Removed from firewall, shutdown in Task Manager and disabled in Startup. Google Toolbar; Add/Remove Programs - See Ya!!! It made me mad that it auto-updated, but it really PO'ed me that it added itself to Startup and my firewall.
  14. I miss his Sunday morning phone calls. Gary could liven up my day with his humor.
  15. I am not up on networking issues. These problems can be due to bad configuration, XP not updated, bad hardware/software, malware or ther causes. 16. Are you using Zone Alarm as your firewall? Some of these problems could be caused by it. Have you disabled any Services? If so which ones. A bad ADSL driver/firmware could cause some of this. Your onboard Ethernet could be bad. Try a PCI Ethernet card.
  17. Which ad? Three or four have been trashed in the last couple of days. I moved one then PMed Chappy to ban the fool. I think he caught at least one of the others or maybe both. Darn spammers are as bad as script kiddies.
  18. OK TT7_5. I have finally read the part about barriers and admit I was lost. Since this is an Intel 810 chipset, am I understanding this Accelerator 2.3 right? If I download it and run it now for their Wme it will make the computer a little faster and will allow up to a 137 gig HD. Then when they go to xp I will have to download and run it again. NewEgg has a 40 gig HD for around $40. I don't know how big they should go on HD. As I said before XP is all new to me since I only have experience with W98se and Wme. Thanks for advice. It won't improve the speed of WinME. If you opt for the 40GB dr
  19. The stick of memory I want went up $10. The companies are concentrating on the newer DDR2 and NAND memory plus there is a shortage of DDR that will take awhile to replenish. DRAM inventory hits new low
