I think it's integrated with the motherboard. -
Sp2: Disc Or Download?
TheTerrorist_75 replied to wonderent's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I still use the SP2 disk to update old PCs that weren't updated, then I connect to Windows Update for the rest. -
This is beyond a simple touchscreen. They showed the demonstration on the Today show. It will first be released to restaurants, casinos and etc. You can lay your credit card on it which then gets recognized and drag your menu item to where the credit card's image is. It will tally your bill, tip included. They show just setting a camera on the surface then directly accessing the pictures stored on the camera. To change the picture size just touch the diagonal corners with your fingers and move them outward or inward. I hope it has an on-screen keyboard. I can't wait.

The First Commercial Car To Be Powered By Compressed Air
TheTerrorist_75 replied to sultan_emerr's topic in On The Web
Hmmm. I could run it off my dogs rear "air" outlet. -
What a perfect day for mowing. Low 70s with a 10 m.p.h. NW wind. My "hayfield" looks presentable. The jobs wouldn't be bad, but my partner took on some extra work without saying anything. I had to explain to him the jobs started last year took priority seeing as we had a few grand coming on their completion. The smaller quick cash jobs would have to wait for us to fit them into the schedule.

I cured my dog of his snoring. I removed his collar when he is in the house. For some reason the collar caused the snoring, even though it was loose. Now if I could only stop the sounds from the other end.

No holiday for me. I ended up working 10 hours yesterday on a job 60 miles away. Because of on and off rain today I get to try and unplug my sewer line. Hey Pete, can you send the power snake up here?! Tomorrow I need to mow the lawn. I have put in so many hours this week working on 4 different jobs that I neglected mowing. Seeing as my body is sore from head to toe handling those 80 lb. blocks and 60 lb. caps on top of the upper 80 temps with humidity, I gleefully ignored the lawn. Why do all of the clients want their large jobs finished yesterday????

I would opt for a second hard drive. That is how I have my 98SE and XP dual boot set up. The way I swap drives out it makes it easier not having my XP boot.ini include another OS.
-
In a reply within this thread. Someone can then show you what to remove from it.
-
Copy and paste your boot.ini here. It should be C:\boot.ini if your original install of XP was on your C:\ drive.

Congrats to all grads. Now the hard work begins. Someday you will come to a realization that it would have been more fun if school lasted forever.

Gas jumped .06 from yesterday. The owner of the quick mart said he expects another raise before the weekend.

Installing Japenese Edition Of Xp

I believe the keys are different. -
$3.07 for 87 octane here and that's with the county not taxing the gas on anything over $2.00/gallon. Driving 60 miles to the south to do a job today I saw 87 octane advertised at $3.24 outside of my county.

Ghost 2003 should work just fine. http://ghost.radified.com/ http://ghost.radified.com/ghost_1a.htm http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ghost...002030415014425 ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_...t2003_guide.pdf -
Well my old computer parts are gone. I talked to my alderman and he said to set them outside, seperated, next to the trash and the city would pick them up. I completely stripped and sorted about 12 old desktop PCs. Between all those parts and cases plus enough old parts to piece together another 10 PCs along with several burnt out monitors I had a little over half of a pickup truck load. After piling all of it beside the curb a crew of guys pulled up with an S-15 Jimmy and grabbed everything. I told them to keep an eye out because I would be placing more junk out in the next few weeks.

Why bother changing the boot.ini if you might install 'nix on the other hard drive? I just use the bios to boot my other OSes. I can pull or insert whatever drive I feel like with out gettting errors with the boot.ini.
-
There should be more to that error message. Usually when a VxD is involved it points to a driver problem.

Whoa.......big brother is indeed watching. They had better be 18+ to view my Internet traffic.

Not a problem. I don't plan on buying any more vehicles newer than a 1992. The newer computer systems suck. Even the newer engines aren't that great.

Machine Is Dead...(sort Of)
TheTerrorist_75 replied to bearskin's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I would suspect the motherboard (bad cap?) or processor is ready to bite the dust. -
I figure that I waited to install XP last year once 98SE was no longer supported. Maybe by the time XP's support is at its end Vista SP5 may be ready for me.

It doesn't allow the rotation of the complete .mov file? Edit I just noticed that IrfanView only allows rotation of each frame then the video needs to be reassembled. What make and model of camera was used? The manufacturer may have its own software for rotating the video.
