Understand that any "fixing" you do may be looked at as doing harm to the school's machine(s). You will be responcible for all repairs (at repair tech rates), and or replacement. oh nerelda that was a low BLOW I have had fan noises before. Remove the fan, peel the sticker, drop some oil, (i use PB Blaster or Liquid Wrench) replace sticker or put tape over the hole, spin fan by hand to remove extra oil, reinstall. I have even removed the fan and sprated it with the pot sprayed in the sink. This was a fan that would not move any air because the dust. After cleaning I used my dremel with no bit just the collet the spin the fan from the fan hub. The dremel spinning around 10,000 rpm removes some wate.
