  3. Marty, Irfanview has a very good help file. Here's a quick "How To" to Resize/Resample a picture. Open a picture in Irfanview / at the top, click Image / click Resize/Resample A box will open. On the top left you can set the Width, Height, DPI, and Units (pixels, cm, inches), to whatever size you want; On the bottom left, you will see Preserve Aspect Ratio. If this is checked, your picture will retain the same proportions. When you type a size into the Height box, the size is automaticaly calculated, and entered into the "Width" box, and visa versa. ( Un-check this box if you want to use you
  4. That brought back some memories. Good one, handplane.
  5. The only thing I can think of: Tools / Options / Web Features / uncheck "for the originating web site only" also click the Exceptions button and add the sites.

  7. I don't know if 2000 comes with it, but here's a way to check: Right click any folder Mouse over Send To See if Compressed (zipped) Folder, or something similar, is an option If so, then you have some sort of zip utility, which will also unzip
  8. You're quite welcome, blim. I figured it would be easier to explain with pictures, than writing it out. It's sure a lot faster, considering how slow I type. Glad it was of help to you.

  10. lol That's some good ones, Marty.
  11. blim, A zipped file, is a file that has been compressed, so that it makes for a smaller download. There's nothing to unzipping a file. I use the zip utility that came with my XP, Winzip I believe. A step by step: After downloading the file, right click it and select to scan with your AV. After the scan, the results are displayed. If no problems are found, click Finish, Close, or whatever, depending on the AV used. If the file shows an infection, DELETE it. Then right click the folder again, and select Extract All ... You'll be presented with this box. Click Next. Then you'll get this box.
  12. That was cool, Marty! Thanks.

  20. blim, Here's a good tutorial to installing, and setting up, Spywareguard.
  21. It runs smooth, just a little CPU intensive, depending on the page. 78 - 100% CPU usage. I normally run 2 - 4%.
  22. If you have any questions about Fass let me know. Been using it for about a year. I also have a list of different skins, and directions how to apply them, if your interested. Personally, I like the black skin. What I like most about Fass, is when you add tags, it gives you the opening and closing tags, with one click.
