Are you talking about the Google search on the tool bar? If so: Right click an empty spot on the toolbar, at the top. Click Customize, and a box will open with, all of the tool bar options. Left click on the Google search, and drag it into this box. Anything you want to add to the tool bar, just drag it from the box, to the tool bar. If your talking about changing your home page: Tools / Options / General / then change it under Home Page Hope this helps you out, Marty. If you have any more questions, just ask.

Gee, that doesn't sound like something a respectable company, like that, would do.

Glad to see you made it over here, jeservices. Nice little place we got here, and I know your going to be an asset. I think you'll find that this board, is a lot like the old TTV boards. Bunch of real nice people, and pretty laid back. We've got an arcade too, with a few different games. Hope you enjoy your time here.

Hello, MadameX. Welcome aboard, we're glad to have you here. I know, that there's no one here that's going to make you feel unwanted, or stupid. We're all here to learn what we can, and then pass on that information. We all started off knowing, nothing. Enjoy your stay, and remember, the only stupid question, is the one not asked.

Either one, will wipe your harddrive, clean. Factory fresh. You run them from a boot floppy/CD. But, I would definitely try CurlingSteve's suggestion, first. Here's a link to the method used for harddrive erasing, using Eraser: Darik's Boot and Nuke

Are you talking about wiping the harddrive clean? Eraser KillDisk

Am I to understand, that you are running 3 anti-virus programs, at the same time? Not advisable! Something PeteC posted in the past, on another board:

Marty, I'm sure somebody here can help you out. Download the latest version of HijackThis (HJT), from this link. Put HijackThis in a Permanent folder: Click My Computer / C: / File / New / Folder / name the folder; HijackThis Put HijackThis.exe, in this folder. This is a mandatory step, for the backup and restore functions, of HijackThis, to be able to work. Read the pinned post in the Security forum, here Then, run a log, and post it in the HJT forum, at this link. Do NOT, fix anything, yet. A member, of the HJT Team, will help you out.

Have you tried: a² free-a complementary product to antivirus software which is specialized in protection against harmful software. Antivirus software often features an inadequate protection against Trojans, Dialers and Spyware. a² fills this gap.
