  1. Intel Boot Agent is NOT a BIOS utility, and is not meant to be used as one. Info on Intel Boot Agent Some more info on this I believe that this is not in place of a BIOS utility, but it could be shown insted of...I think the answer may be in the command options available in the one link I gave above. I can't be more certain without some research and I don't have the time right now, so hopefully the links I gave will help you sort this out.

  3. TK!!!! You bugger you, CONGRATS DUDE!! She's a beauty, and she's welcome to come join our merry little band of miscreants whenever you guys get back online. Never mind what BubbaBob said ...you need to bring her back up here to Canada, even my x-wife stayed here after we split. She said she'd never move back there after living in a land that has so little violent crime, and no better place to raise kids. Email me when you get the chance buddy, you still have my addy I assume.

Hi Folks Thx for the friendly welcome home....as usual, you guys are the Bestest & Friendliest group of Electronic Misfits that the world has ever known! Nobody knows exactly why, but Neuropathic pain is most prominent at nights, so sleeping (or lack thereof) is the biggest complaint you hear on the Neuropathy.org site. There are some theories as to why this is, but absolutely no factual studies can say why. Basically, as I'm slowly learning, you just learn to ignore a certain amount of pain and go on with life as best you can. Fortunately that also means you can cut back on the amount of

Ya, I heard from him too and he said he'll come back right away... He said he just needed a break from everything cause he's been just so doggone tired with this health crap an all, and took a holiday. I sure don't miss him tho....arrogant bugger. I don't see what y'all see in him anyway....just cause he's handsome an smart doesn't mean diddly squat really.. SORRY EVERYONE!!! I have been (all at once) tired, burned out, sick, playing pool, popping pills, and generally just bummed out. When doing my taxes I found out I had spent OVER $5000.00 on meds last year alone, thats enough to bum anyone
  7. So THATS what it was that I stomped on in the corner earlier... It was wrigglin and squirmin something awful so I decided to put it out of it's misery and squarshed it....sorry Liz. If I had known it was your pet post I would've put a leash on it and lead it home for you instead, but I've already flushed it down the Lou so it's gone...
  8. To get the grass roots to grow deeper into the soil, you have to allow it to grow a bit at times. If you keep your grass trimmed too short all the time, it can't weather the tough times as well as because the root system is too shallow. If you trim your grass too much and too short, most of it's energy is put into regrowing the blades and not enough is put into growing a strong root system. That's why she has a dustbowl and yours is still nice an green. **Horticulture Made Easy** By Chappy
  9. Howdy everyone! Well, it's been well over 2 weeks since I last logged in here, and I feel obligated to my online family to explain my absence. Those of you who remember the post about what happened to my niece a few months ago, will remember that the court date was set for mid March, and we've been faithfully attending all the proceedings. Right now there is not much to report as the proceedings are on hold pending a decision on a motion before the court, but this motion should be defeated and things should continue shortly. Due to a publication ban on this, I can't say anything more particula
  10. Uhhh....you're not contemplating removing the platters from this drive and putting them into another drive enclosure are you???? If so, don't waste your time as this will NOT work for you, you'll only end up with TWO dead drives if you try this. The gap tolerance of the read/write heads and the platters, is less than the thickness of a particle of cigarette smoke, so any contaminants that get into the drive enclosure while you try this, will cause the heads to crash the platters and then they're all toast for sure. This has to be done in special "Clean Rooms" to ensure that even the smallest p
  11. Hi Bill Most of the time, I find that the default drivers that XP installs, are all thats needed for most devices. Usually it's wireless or special feature keyboards & mice that need other drivers, and programs likle Roxio or Symantec will install their drivers when you reinstall the program software, so I don't find many devices I need to have special drivers for after reinstall. The driver location you got here...well, ya the drivers are there, but you can't just copy them back to this folder after reinstalling and have them work. They have to have their parent program install them, or h
  12. Hi Mark Yah, some of those are supposed to be there, and hidden by default, but the "zb thumbnail info" one is odd so I Googled it and found it's possibly a file for a Canon utility called "ZoomBrowser", so it's probably legit. There is always a desktop.ini file and a thumbs.db in your My Pictures folder so those can be ignored of course.
  13. Hey TK old friend!! Great to hear from you again and glad to hear that things are going well for you!! Drop me an email anytime buddy, you're always welcome in my inbox and we haven't chatted for awhile. Take Care TK
  14. Hi Marty Yes, T-Bird is a good email client. I also recommend Eudora, and it's my personal favorite BTW. I've been using Eudora for 6 years now and I would never, ever....EVER go back to Outlook or Outlook Express after using Eudora It's easy to make spam/junk filters with Eudora, and just as easy to set up auto filters for all your good mail too, Using the Sponsored version of Eudora gives you a full featured email client, and the advertisement you have to put up with is very small, sit's in the bottom left corner, and is NEVER obtrusive! In fact, I never even notice it at all anymore. It nev
  15. The "Fantasy" (painted) ones are actually very famous artworks by Salvador Dali that I've resized. I have quite a few of his works and they make AWESOME backgrounds!! His art is perfect for doing this, colorful and intruiging. The 2 I've posted are 2 of my fave's of his, and here are a couple more of his works for those who may agree with me:
  16. Thx, but this is only a small fraction of what I have, and these are not even the "best of" from the categories. These are just some random picks from a few of the more popular types of images, I have around 2400 images out of which maybe 1800 will make good wallpapers.
  17. Hi Marty They're not screensavers, they're for the desktop backgrounds (the picture on your desktop), and of course they are clean I don't use screensavers either but I like to change my desktop background image around sometimes. Well, you can use them for whatever you wish of course, and I have tons of really cool images, so you're welcome to any that you may like when I'm finished. They're all sized to just fit right into the desktop and if anyone needs help with how to do that, all they have to do is ask. I'll have instructions on a couple of different ways to do that when I get them on my
  18. Ok....something went wrong, they were here just a second ago and now they're gone. I'll see what happened and fix it for you. FIXED (I hope)
  19. Hi Everyone!! I've been really busy lately, converting many of my 1000's of awesome images I've collected over the years into Desktop Wallpapers, and will soon be offering these wallpapers to all my friends here to d'load. I've been converting them into the 2 more common screen resolutions, 1280x1024 for most LCD flat screens and CRT's over 18", and 1024x768 for smaller LCD screens and CRT monitors, and that's why I've been absent for awhile. I have sorted them into categories also, like Cars, Nature, Landscapes, Microscopic Imagery, Space, Famous Artworks, Native Art, Undersea Life, Famous Mo
  20. I think this statement in their FAQ's section says it all... Anytime that you can NOT register a program you've purchased with the program's company, it's pretty much gauranteed that it's an ILLEGAL copy.
