Wow....gorgeous sunsets!!! We have beautiful pink/red sunsets here too but that's a very pretty backdrop there! I LOVED raising Arizona, that movie is one of my all time Fave's, along with Pulp Fiction. Nicholas Cage was hilarious in that...well they ALL were really...I watch that movie anytime I see it scheduled somewhere.

HEY!!!!! Now I know exactly what to do with that old box I have lying around!!! Thx Marty, I would never have thought of that..

Vista Rc2 Available For Download
Chappy replied to shanenin's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I tell ya guys, I'm still just Flabergasted at the amount of resources they require for the "minimum requirements" to run Vista....and for what?? Better graphics? Basically...yes, better graphics, as there really is little in Vista that is much of an improvement over XP SP2. Some deeper kernel security measures and thats about it. But you need a 1G + processor, not a big deal today 1G memory, that's quite a bit for minimum requirement... 40G drive with 15G available, c'mon now....does it really need 15 friggin G's to install? 128MB Graphics memory...wow, thats MINIMUM too! In today's systems t -
Hi Liz There's no political type thing here, just a topic on underage drinking and alcohol abuses in general, so there never was any concern about that. We just didn't think the picture was needed. A half naked drunk woman on the toilet isn't going to get the message across to anyone really. A horiffically graphic image of the death and carnage a drunk driver can cause would be better for that, but would be far too graphic for some. No, the message the post is bringing out is quite valid and important, so there was never an issue about that.

From what I've heard, they were reporting they were having "Fuel Difficulties" before the accident, and that witnesses have said it appears they were trying to weave in and out of the buildings. I believe they were trying to reach the river for a water ditching because the engine had failed due to a fuel delivery problem, couldn't maintain altitude to reach it so they tried to dodge buildings to get there and couldn't quite make it. The crash was a couple of blocks away from the open river and I think they just finally ran out of airspeed to control the aircraft anymore, and hit the building.

Most times, these "I'll make your Puter Faster" techniques are worthless and in many cases can cause other serious issues. Always be very careful when you follow things like that especially if they involve disabling services. Not only does that NOT make your machine faster, it can cause some instabilities.

I guess Illinois finally did something right, they do not require a SS# for a DL or state ID. I'm surprised a certified copy of a birth certificate is NOT accepted, yet an adoption decree is. I'm also surprised by that too, I thought your Birth Certificate was all that was needed to obtain your SSC?

Ahhh....looks Relaxing!! Mountains in the background, open prarie land in between, and beautiful clear skies above..perfect settings! A nice hike to the hills to the West there and a good days hiking/climbing the hills would be really cool and good for the soul I'd say.

Well, half naked, on a toilet passed out, vomiting into a trash can...not an image that the Staff thought was appropriate or even needed in fact, to get the message of alcohol abuse across. As everyone knows we don't allow nude or semi-nude images, and many folks and staff asked about it. Some members PM'd some Staff about it and the Staff, in turn, posted about it's removal in our Admin board. It was decided that while the intent of the post was fine, the image used wasn't required, and was a bit too close to being overtly obscene, and therefore, removed.

Folks I have removed the picture attached to this post as it has been deemed "Too Graphic" an illustration and not appropriate or needed to make the point this post is making. Thank You for your understanding

Sorry Joe, I didn't realize that it may sound defensive... No, it wasn't that way at all my friend, I was simply explaining a bit more about my feelings and reasoning is all. I was sorely tempted, no doubt there, but it couldn't possibly become anything more than a one niter, and I wouldn't do that to such a sweet thing. Yah, I do agree with you about the Soul of the Stones, and that is exactly why they are so huge still today. That and the fact that Mick just absolutely DEMANDS your attention on stage...that man has a presence that's larger than the stage itself.

Well, that was MY decision about her my friend, so I have no idea how it could have actually worked out, but no doubt she was interested in me as I was in her. But age is a huge factor even tho we'd like to think it's not, and a one night stand is not who I am. She was something else tho...I won't forget those eyes for a long time. Aside from our Fanatical, Suicidal bus driver, it was a very good time indeed! While I don't believe (musically influential, or talent wise) the Stones are bigger than the Beatles, they certainly have withstood the test of time (and drugs) to outlast any band from t

Thx Y'all! Too bad I missed the food and girls, but maybe next time eh.. Oh, Joe...Sultan knows better than to actually post a link to "Party Girls" on our nice Family Friendly site..I hope. I did see your link tho, and yes, it looks like it'd be tasty after an open pit fire roasting, even with too much Rosemary. You can always counter that with a bit of lemon juice. Nice clean "Killdisk'd" master OS drive, now I'll transfer all the storage stuff to a new partition over here and do the same to the slave drive. Then make a few new partitions and finally go thru the gigs of stuff I have and tri

Well, as expected it was GREAT!!! What a show these guys put on! A 6 storey high by 180 some feet wide stage that the entire thing is a huge Video screen thingy with band closeups and other effects on it...wow...now that's a"Big screen TV"! During the show a section of the center of the stage moves out with the band on it, all the way out to center field from the back of the end-zone where it sat. Then they do a couple songs out there for the crowd and later it moves back into the main stage again, while a HUGE blowup ballon of the giant "red lips & tounge" inflates above. Something I lear

Hiya Peeps! Man, this is gonna be good!! We have 2 shows in Regina, the only stop on the tour where they agreed to add a second show...I wonder when Regina got to be such a big Metropolitan Center as to get 2 Rolling Stones concerts.. Anyway, the folks that went to the first show on Friday night are just RAVING about it. Huge 18 x 60 meter stage (60' high x 196' wide), with a long center walkway that most everyone thinks is just that...a walkway. But in reality, the ENTIRE STAGE moves forward on this thing by 40' or so. I hear it's quite the spectacle just to watch that huge stage move like th

Hi Joe, and others! I'm going to leave the thread up so others can read it, but I'm also going to close it so it doesn't get a political type thread started. I know this is more "News" than it is a Political post, and that's why I'll leave it up, but since it is News of a Political nature and could start getting testy, I'm locking it from replies. Thanx for your Understanding!

Hell....let's just go right PAST 100,000, and go straight to 1,000,000!!! Oh...that could be awhile I guess, and we'll need to party well before that time..so,.. HERE'S to 10,010!!!! WhooPeee!! Then, HERE"S to 10,020!!! YAHoooo!! On a serious note now....THANK YOU ALL!!! The absolutely FANTASTIC membership here, make this the BEST place to Administrate in the World! I have more friends here and more fun here than anywhere ever! I can say that it even rivals our all time love TTV, because most of the old TTV'rs are here with us still. I know we lost many during the bad days of the breakup and

**In my best Jack Nicholson crazy voice** "Heerrrressss JOHNNY!!!" All dun! How was the party? Whaddid I miss?

Course not Darlene, I'm done already and just reinstalling the less needed stuff as I need it now. Basically it takes me a day or so to get all the info and files I need from the old install, over to a temp storage drive. Things like my hidden email client files that have all user preferrences, mailboxes, settings and stuff, I copy to storage. Then after I reinstall the OS and the email program, I simply replace the newly installed files with the copied ones so it's exactly like it was before when I open it. I do the same for certain browser files and other programs that need allot of setup s

At least, as far as you stated, HE broke the rules and HE, alone, was punished -- Most management nowadays would take Internet access away from EVERYBODY. I have a billion examples of such scorched-Earth management where I work. That is what it's like at my employer, City of Regina...but it's really for a very good reason. They allow access for City business ONLY nowadays but it used to be wide open and of course some idiots got their PC's infected terribly. Well, when the big Internet worms were hitting everyone, of course we were hit also by the less than "savvy" users in the City em

AHHEMMM..... Hmmmm, now lemme get this straight. You guys were gonna have a party while I was away and pretend it never happened eh... GOTCHA!! And besides...Jeff is still kickin around, but I guess he's been invited to the party too. Oh well, I'm just P.O.'d that I'm gonna miss such a good party...that's all.

Hi everyone! Well, it's that time of the year again for me! Yep...that's right, it's REINSTALL XP PRO TIME....again!!!!! Time to clear up the clutter and save it for some rainy day (yah,,,right) when I may (never) need it again My yearly ritual it seems. I get tired of all the stuff I have accumulated, most of which I have no idea what it's for anymore, so I CD it in case I remember what it was I have it for, and then never look at it again. Then I reinstall XP and proceed the accumulation process all over again...sigh. Takes me a day to figure out what to keep, move my partitions around so I

Personally, I don't use ANY 3rd party toolbars ever! I prefer my screen as uncluttered as possible, and if I wish to search Google for something, I simply hit Google in my Links and get it that way. I don't want someone deciding what my browser interface should look like, that's my personal preferrence not theirs, and judging by the comments here and elsewhere I'm certainly not missing anything (except headaches I guess). I never figured out what folks see in these things anyway, I mean, all the things these t-bars do for you are merely a click away in most browsers anyways, and other useless

That was a real eye opener for sure....(gulp)
