  1. Now THATS a good one! I didn't see that ending coming, I'll have to save this one.
  2. Heheh....good ones! I won't comment on it tho, too much to say and not enough time. You're fitting right in here Snyper....sick bugger!
  3. For those who may be somewhat confused, the original post has changed since it was first posted. The original post had a single link to the "Senator bash" site and that's all, that's why it was borderline political. "Naming is hard" has obviously added to his list of links to gice more insight into the Net Neutrality issue.
  4. Thats cause everyone wants to beat them up...
  5. I've always put my carts back into the "Corral" as it's been called here, I hate those people that just leave them right beside where they parked their cars and emptied the cart. Most places here use the Coin-Op carts nowadays, but even this doesn't stop them. Some places are a Loonie ($1) coin and others are $.25...the loonie ones rarely get just left behind cause that's just TOO much money, but the two-bit ones.....they don't care! I like to give my carts (even the paid for ones) to the lil old lady, or the mom with little kids, instead of returning it for the money. Makes me feel like I've
  6. Ok folks. Following our rule for no Political posts allowed at Besttechie.net, we've looked at this post and believe that it doesn't quite fall under this rule per-se. You certainly can make comment on the tactics used by this senator, but we won't allow this to become a platform for politically based commentary ab
  7. (meant as a joke only) ok it's a little more technical than i thought *macmarauder puts away the oil soaked pliers and electric turkey carving knife That's our "Mad Doctor" for you...always trying to do it the cheap & easy way...
  8. Hmmm, wonder how you figured that out Shhhh.....don't tell anyone, but I read it on the site after someone else solved it...

You may RUN AMOK in whatever old stuff you have layin around Luv! How about that tattered old nightgown in the bottom dresser drawer....yah...that one, the one you haven't worn in 6 years. Run amok in that for awhile... My pleasure showing you how to use all the doo-dads we have at IABusinessProjects, but kinda glad we don't have all that here. We'd never get anything accomplished cause we'd all be playin around with them too much.

  12. The answer is simple....."Listen" C'mon guys, it's as plain as day what the answer is..
  13. I wanna drive that Hemi GTX TT!! I once co-owned a company where we built high performance engines and cars, I love the old muscle cars!! Nothing beats the sound and feel of raw HP pushing you back into a bucket seat... I've driven & raced many a hot car and this Dyno racing just wouldn't tug my chain all that much. Dyno's are for showing you how well you built the engine and how to tweak it, not for racing. The driver's skill is not tested on a dyno, where it is on a track and could be the difference.
  14. Yikes! Glad to hear she pulled thru that first part and is on the recovery trail. Many times it takes something to wake us up to our health, and this experience will probably ensure she quits smoking...not a great way to do it but it'll work hopefully. Good thing you recognized the symptoms right away and didn't just put it off. Too many heart attack victims don't respond to the initial signs and sometimes leave it till it's too late. DENIAL is a medically listed symptom of Heart Attacks! And it's a deadly mistake. Best wishes to you & your wife Robroy!!
  15. EMS Freesurfer was always free, but for awhile it was so difficult to get to the free popup blocker page that most thought that it was gone and the Companion was all that they offered. It wasn't...it was just that the Companion page was what 99% of people ended up on because of the way the site set it up, and you really had to look hard to get to the free popup blocker page. I used EMS Freesurfer for ages when I used IE and I really liked it. It was very unobtrusive if the options were set up properly, and did the job wonderfully. It may actually still be installed back there somewhere, but I
  16. What is one of the "Exact" error messages? It may simply be a scripting error and that can be turned off if so. Ah heck...may as well turn it off and we'll see if that fixes this for you. Open Internet Options either in control Panel or in an open browser window, click Tools - Internet options, Advanced tab, check both "Disable script debugging" boxes and uncheck the "Display script errors" one. Possible that this is what you're getting errors on as it is quite common, and annoying. All it is is minor script errors in the page being displayed and there is nothing you can do about it other than
  17. Ok then, so puff-puff-puff-sp-puff-puff-sp-sp-puff-sp-puff-puff-sp-puff-sp-puff-sp-puff-puff-puff-puff-sp-sp-puff-end What does that say? (Hint- it says I've smoked too much loco weed, pass the Budwieser please)
  18. Ooooo! First, that does look surprisingly cool. But yeah, a double-decker bridge! Or how about having six towers in a hexagon (rather than just two of them opposing each other) with connecting bridges between them? How about building that up several stories? Git yerself in the Guiness book of world records maybe. Oh my Lord....what have I done...I may have created a Monster! Sorry shanenin, if this now becomes your life's work and you become obsessed with building the world's biggest penny bridge...I guess I'll have to shoulder some of the blame... But then again...if you DO build the bigges
  19. We'll be here whenever you can make it back TK. Amazing how life can turn around all of a sudden eh...just when things seem like they could not get any darker, you find the brightest light in the Universe!!! Also like they say, when you reach the bottom of the barrel, the only way to go from there is UP. We all have to hit that bottom sometime in our lives buddy, that's part of what makes us Human, and being human means we can climb back out too. Later Buddy! Beautiful kids man...you're lucky!
  20. How many Gigs can a smoke signal store??? Thats what I thought...only 640k can be stored in smoke signals, the "old" Bill Gates size limitation applies to those. (Actually, that was misquoted as coming from Bill Gates. He has denied ever saying that "640k ought to be enough memory for anyone")

Actually Luvvy...the Move text was working, it was just the color code was buggered by being in the wrong sequence, and the last "/color" was being displayed since the browser didn't know how to parse it correctly, again cause it was out of sequence. I also took the time to post and show you the uses of sub & superscript while I was there last....aren't I a PITA jerk! I hope you don't think so, I'm just trying to make sure you know how to play with ALL the features soze you can run AMOK in style!!
  22. Hi Marty Remember old friend...."Google is your friend!" A Google search on "dban" brought up the original authors site, and at least 10 sites where you could d'oad it, plus another bunch that reviewed it... Looks like a good utility, I haven't heard of this one yet so I'll have to test it out and see how I like it. I still use Active KillDisk at the moment, but it never hurts to have more than one Killdisk utility at hand.
  23. LOL!! Only proves that an Idle Mind is easily entertained... Actually, it is cool, and it's all very simply done with basic physics. Of course, this coming from a one-time engineering and physics student... There's no real trick to it once you have a close look, and the final "towers" on top of either side are quite necessary for overall stability. You actually could continue building up from there again, so maybe shanenin will grace us with an updated pic of a "QUADRUPLE" bridge setup!!!! (hint-hint) Go Young man....GO!
  24. Our Pleasure Gracie! I had written an original post that stated that I thought you may not have accessed the BIOS properly, and/or that this IBA was being displayed on TOP of the BIOS utility interface, but decided to can most of it. Turns out that I was pretty much on the right track originally, but your persistence made all of that a mute point anyway. Anytime we can be of service, just c'mon by and ask! G'nite now.
  25. Hahahaha..... I thought so...but I was still reading and typing when you found out this to be true! Good one Gracie, and glad we could figure that out (together, at different times.. )
