Opera doesn't allow it. Worked with IE6.

I prefer using Panda over Microsoft's Defender. I have had great results and support using their anti-virus/firewall setup for the past 5 years. I use Spyware Blaster and AdAware in addition to Panda. I stopped using SpyBot when it didn't find anything more than the others did. I don't really like infusing too much MS programs on my PC. I only use IE for updates and Opera for my main browsing. I do not do automatic updates. I wait and see if there are issues reported before downloading and installing the updates. Since my install of XP I have had only one issue which was caused by a Nvidia gra

Install Vista Rc2 ?
TheTerrorist_75 replied to irregularjoe's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Not sure what you mean. I did set up Vista on a second HD. Do you mean physically remove the XP HD and run Vista on a seperate HD? Yes. Install Vista on a second drive with the XP drive removed. That way the MBR isn't affected. Also disable Vista's System Restore. I believe that is included in the Vista tips above. -

When trying a new OS in a dual boot setup I prefer to install the OSes on separate hard drives. I will remove any hard drives containing a previouly installed OS and install the new OS on a formatted drive hooked up alone. This way other OSes cannot be corrupted. I then use the Bios boot order to pick the OS I want to boot to. Once I am confident with the new OS and know that they can be setup in a dual boot configuration without issue then I will install them in a correct dual boot setup. I would not setup a permanent dual boot setup with Vista as of yet. Whenever you go to install the newes -
well talk about coincidence. I just got my reminder that my contract was up for renewal. I just locked in for another year at $24.95. I got talking to the girl on the phone about other services and she said they are planning on adding a 6mbps package for my area. I also asked her about adding Dish TV to my phone/broadband package so I could get rid of TW Cable TV. For every channel plus phone (unlimited local & long distance) and broadband (3mbps) the cost would only be $163 a month. Hell I'm paying over $110 a month for TW with a planned increase coming up again. My TW has been terrible

Computer Keeps Rebooting
TheTerrorist_75 replied to McCoist's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Contact your friend to use the CDs that he loaded on the computer to do a repair install. I take it this wasn't a legit install if you didn't get the CDs. If so your PC probably isn't updated and is vulnerable to malware. -

What operating system? Did this occur because of Windows Updates? What brand of computer? Do you have the Office CDs? -
They should hire me. I'll show them how to burn all that weed.

They can grow really high if you let them.

You will have to pay a phone service connection fee that will be included on your first bill.
-
They'll charge you a monthly fee for the line to make up for not having the phone service. I have Windstream, formerly Alltel here. I am paying about $56 a month for the 3mbps/384kbps DSL package and phone service. I get an $8 discount on the phone service because I am still considered disabled and I keep renewing my 1 year DSL contract to stay locked in at $25 a month. If they maintain the same service Alltel gave me I will be quite happy. I see you found their FAQ. Will the price with phone service still be cheaper than your cable?

Wait just a gol' darn minute there mister. That's the U.S. government you're talking about there, what could possible go wrong? (Dreading the day they take over medical care for us all, can you even imagine how screwed up that will be? And the potential consequences? It'll be a LOT worse than "I didn't get paid this week," or "You took out too much money." You'll be dead, and it'll be your next-of-kin that won't get a straight answer why.) I can attest to some of the horrors when dealing with Medicaid/Medicare. If I didn't have an additional option offered by NY State (Fidelis Care) I

I haven't heard of any issues yet and they are not causing any problems on my system. I always make sure to run all of my cleanup programs (CCleaner, AdAware), scan with my anti-virus program, run Disk Cleanup, Defrag then create a new restore point before downloading and installing updates. IF there is a problem you can revert to the restore point made before updating. Some suggest installing one update at a time then seeing if there is an issue. Don't forget any Office updates if you have it. -
I agree that the goth kids are usually quite creative and are nothing to be afraid of. The gangbangers in my area tread lightly around me and my friends, They know us older construction workers would take them out in a heartbeat. I find rednecks too lazy and drunk to be a danger except to themselves. As for the fourth option...
