  3. A little trick we did in NYC was to imbed broken glass or tiny sharp nails/screws into a concrete slurry or epoxy on the top of block walls and window sills. If a thief attempted to boost himself over his hands would be shredded.

  7. I just looked at your log. Tell your son to stop using the computer. It is infected. Wait for the HJT experts to help clean it up before resuming normal Internet use.
  8. Meet you at the Whiskeyman's Bar on 07/07/3007. They should have something to keep us alive that long in the next 20-30 years.

  13. I never trust downloads from alternate sites. I just download the WGA and let it do it's thing. All it does is tell Billy that your version of Windows is legit. Nothing more or less.
  14. I got a real nice birthday present. Dentures are in my future.
  15. Thanks. I will spend it getting bloodwork done, finishing a small side job then going to the dentist. After that I have a date with my old bar stool at my former bar and a case of Canada Dry Diet Ginger Ale with a couple bags of cashews.
  16. I'm still behind the times. 1. You accidentally enter your password on the microwave. Mine has a dial for the timer. 2. You haven’t played Solitaire with real cards in years. I think the last time i played solitare it was with a deck of cards. I haven't checked out the games on my PC in a looong time. 3. You have a list of 15 phone numbers to reach your family of 3. I never ask for their cell phone numbers. They are usually out of minutes or lost them. 4. You e-mail the person who works at the desk next to you. No desk work for me. I can just toss a paver at my co-workers to get their attenti
  17. That looks like one of many spam emails hitting the circuit. Only thing missing is the links in certain areas.
  18. That's the truth. They quit making good vehicles after the '70s. I could fix any of the pre-computerized cars on the spot with just using my brain and ears as diagnostic tools.
  19. I love the microwave, but use the stove top all the time. How do you sautee stuff? Even something as basic as fried potatos needs a flame and oil. I limit my intake of fried foods, fats, starches and etc. If on a rare occasion I want something fried I toss my iron skillet on the grill and use canola oil. I have lost 180 lbs. between the exercise and dietary changes, plus that old bloated liver being discarded.
  20. I had all of my tools in the truck. I had the crimp connectors and crimpers. The only thing I didn't have was extra wire and my VOM. 4 wires burned through on the driver side manifold, that I didn't see, and the fusible link to the ECM completely melted from the firewall back into the harness on the passenger side. I was going to cut off the wire harness for my trailer lights and just run a straight wire in place of the fusible link. Without the VOM I wouldn't have noticed the dead short and may have damaged my ECM by jumpering with the straight wire. I was glad that the garage owner noticed I
  21. I prefer my air tools. The sound and feel of power when running a carbide bit in my 25,000 r.p.m. Ingersoll-Rand die grinder is unreal. My air shears will do short work in opening up a case. I even picked up an air saw that makes my old electric jigsaw seem wimpy.
  22. I only use my stove for baking. Everything else is cooked in the microwave or outside on the grill. If I could bake with the microwave the stove would get tossed.
