Steer clear of the ECS, PC Chips, SOYO and other less known brands. I have had ggod luck with the MSI, Epox, Asus, Gigabyte and Shuttle Socket A motherboards. My Epox 8-KHA+ is still running strong after 6 years of abuse. 431 items found in: Socket A Motherboard

Driving in snow is easy once you're used to it. I love throwing on my snowshoes and going for a stroll through the woods. I'll take shoveling over sweating my butt off mowing a lawn all year. Just think in the winter there are no bugs to bug you. There's nothing like sipping a mug of hot chocolate next to the woodstove. It's a shame many people don't get to enjoy all of the seasonal changes.

You guys really need more lake effect snow. I guess the few storms a year are not worth complaining about(compared to you) I want to see us beat last years dumping. It has been many years since we were snowed in for more than a couple of weeks.

Darned man-made Global Warming! I'm surprised by how quickly colder weather's creeping up on us all (well, for those of us who HAVE colder weather). That "global warming" is keeping Lake Ontario warmer giving us the big wet and heavy snowfalls. It's been quite awhile since we have seen the lake freeze giving us the -20 to -30 temps for several days at a time with light snow flurries.

If snow hits here early I am ready. Both trucks have been winterized. I only have a few windows left to caulk and fix the side steps on the house. Both the boiler and furnace are ready. The only thing I need to buy is a new shovel as soon as they appear at the hardware store. Last years February storm did a job on my other shovels.

That's how my one of my refrigerators freezer has been for the last 6 years. I manually defrost it once a year. I learned that it doesn't build up as much by placing liter jugs of water in the freezer to fill up empty spaces.

Oh joy I just can't wait to start shoveling.

What is the density of the disks? Do a full format instead of a quick format. -

And tripled the staff. The Web team is three people, isn't it? I think so. G4 is advertising for a Web Manager and other web team members.

Heh, great only took an entire week... B Maybe if they paid the web team more than minimum wage and gave them benefits..... LOL!

They fixed a lot of the bugs. You can now browse the forums without them locking up. The HTML and Wiki Markup work. There's still a few quirks but nothing major as far as function. Now it's time to test just what I can get away with.

I think I have more junk stashed behind the seat in my GMC than what was in your whole car. I keep saying to the crew that I am going to drive the GMC down the boat ramp on the river and open both doors to clean it out. LOL! The only vehicle that stays clean except when hunting/fishing is the Ford.

Aluvus' site contains great information on power supplies. http://www.10stripe.com/featured/psu/rate.php Calculate minimum power supply. I would add 20% and buy a recommended power supply brand from Aluvus's list. http://www.journeysystems.com/?powercalc

Kingston memory usually doesn't play well with generic brand memory. Keep it all Kingston.

That is similar to my setup except I have two hard drives. I bought a Sparkle 350W PSU that is quite capable of running my setup. I tried an el cheapo no name 400W PSU and it wouldn't even start the system. Cheap power supplies can cause all kinds of errors. The people who sell them will tell you they are good as long as they test "close" to the voltage specs. Many of those 300/350W rated el cheapos don't even put out half of what they state under load.
-
How did he test the PSU? Did the dealer check each leg for voltages within spec? List the hardware in your computer (CPU, drives, graphics card and etc.). A cheap 350W power supply couldn't even begin to run my 5 year old AMD XP 2400+ system. I would still like the complete actual error(s) when you try a new install of XP.

I have never seen that behavior and wouldn't know where to begin trying to straighten it out. Post this problem in PC support and maybe someone has dealt with this before.

Check for bad/loose cable to the hard drive. If that doesn't work you will need to test the hard drive. -
0x000000C2 BAD_POOL_CALLER? Try it again and write down any errors exactly.

What is the exact error?

Every Ford Ranger I ever drove acted like it's rubber band was streched too much.
