Ok if i build a small oh lets say 200-400 PC with wifi and put it in my basement next to my soon to be home entertainment system. Would I be able to stream video and music at GOOD quality over my wifi network. Its 802.11 b. The system is capable of using HD quality video but is my wifi fast enough?

Is there a little box or device I could buy which can hook up to my TV so I can watch videos listen to music across my network from my PC? What are the price ranges for these things? I dont want to buy an entire media box just for my TV.

Well Im deciding between two power supplies. Im still wondering if PFC is something I should go for or not. This enermax one is 500Watts with PFC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817194003 This antec one is less expensive and is 550 Watts but no PFC http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817194003 Im not entirely sure what PFC is but from what Iv read it keeps the voltages from shifting. Well I got the PC to boot finnally. Its running on the bare essentials. Im using one rail for my harddrive only and one for my video card only. Ill need to order a new PSU pretty soon.

Ok some of you guys have noticed that I have been having a massive amount of problems recently. Well yesterday I tried turning on my computer and it refused to boot. It said that the molex connector to my video card was not connected when it clearly was. Now i have to explain something about how my power supply is and I guess how most are. There are two "strings" of wires with molex connectors on it. I previously used one string to power Case fan, Cd drives, and Floppy drive. The other string powerd another small case fan, Video card, and my Harddrive. Well when I saw the message saying that

That molex is from my fan...

Well it is a pretty loud click. I only hear it before it frezes my computer. Well if it can be a power problem then could this be the reason. One of my molex connector's pin is really lose. I have to keep pushing it back up into its connector every now and then if I open my case up. I have it taped and stuff. I know it gets lose at times and breaks the connection. Its not connected to my video card or harddrive directly but it is on the same circuit. I know when it gets lose my video card says that its molex power supply is not connected or installed properly. Would that damamge either my card

Well its not clicks its just one click and then the PC freezes. I have backed up all my stuff. Could a weak PSU or bad motherboard be damaging my drive because this is the second drive I have had on this computer which has failed.

Ok im back with more harddrive issues. Before I thought a hot harddrive was the problem but it may be something else. I started to have that problem where my game (battlefield 2) would freeze up soon after or during load. Well I noticed something. Right before my computer freezes I hear a click from my Harddrive. I let it cool down again but when i started it I heard a click during boot right after bios checked my CD drives. My cd drives come first on my boot order so i know my motherboard was checking my harddrive when I heard the click. It tried again and now its working. I used speedfan's

But now that wouldnt be fun. Im planning on buying some solder soon so I can try again.

I dont want to get rid of those popups. Firefox already blocks the bad one for me. Its the good ones like a java script window or things like that. They dont show up right.

You know on some websites a popup will show up with a video you want to watch after you clicked on a link. Well im having problems with those popups in firefox. They dont show up right. They will show up very narrow and long without a scroll bar or a way to change the size of the window. Im stuck basicly waching a tiny sliver of the video or looking a piece of a picture. Is there a way to fix this?

mshome workgroup name came from WIN 2000 computers. I use XP on all of my PCs. They all have Workgroup as the default name

Hey Just a quick little question which has been bothering me for a long time. I always seem to have trouble getting all my computers to work in the same Workgroup so we can share files and stuff. It seems when I add a new PC to the network some of my other PCs see it but others cant. Sometimes that new PC can see some people but not others. Its really strange. How can I get it so all my computers can see all the other computers in my workgroup easily.
