Hey guys FX posted this PIC (and others) at our clan forum http://www.free-hoster.cc/users/jody/IMGP0490.JPG It says something about his CPU being unworkable or being changed. Any ideas?

Try taking the case off and use a fan to blow air inside. It sounds like a heat issue. My guess is that the program may of overclocked the CPU??? Im not sure though. Look in BIOS and find what the voltage is set at for your CPU core. (btw FX this is rofl from TOK)

Im using DSL. Dont like it but we dont have comcast yet unfortuneately.

Anybody know of a program that can log my CPU temps. Id like to know what my CPU temps hit while im playing games. Since I cant see speedfan while playing I never know what my temps hit in realistic conditions.

high pitched buzzing noise... Is it a mechanical noise of somthing your system speaker could make.

They dont have to be earbuds. I just dont want those Huge ones with like an inch on lining to be extra comfortable.

frank are you just planning to cool your CPU? If you are the watergate mini R80 is good. Make sure you have lots of room in your case. It barely fits in mine. The radiator is kind of big. Edit When I said make sure there is lots of room I ment is your cpu far enough away from the case. My radiator is pushing up against the pump wich lies ontop of the cpu. It just barely fits.

Well I was all cut out to go buy the new Gmini 402 wich is 50 bucks cheaper then the Ipod and can basicly do the same thing when a friend comes up to me and shows me his video ipod. The video quality is amazing. Iv never seen a Gmini in action before just pics of it. How is the vido quality on one? Is it similar or better to the Ipod? Now which one do you guys think I should get.

Both if possible but im on the side of portablilty.

Hey guys Iv been hearing alot of things about Nortons products. Not so good stuf either. I still have a year left free with my Norton System Works 2003 CD but I was wondering if it would be better to switch over to Avast. Is avast more secure? I know it uses alot less sytem resources but I want to make sure my PC stays virus free.

This one is very helpful if you have a slow computer or a computer with a slow harddrive. I did this on my old laptop and it has helped slightly but noticeably (barely).

Well im up here near chicago and we are getting temps in the 50's in JANUARY. Last month when it should of been slightly warmer we were getting temps below zero. Something wacko bout that. Its like the two months switched places.

well then I just got the update. At least they told people about it and had a easy fix

No its not illegal. You are just using the internet you paid for in the first place. IF your downloading something illegal then what you are doin is illegal.

Its not always displaying that box. It only does if i remove the cables and only plug the power cable back in. Oh and another thing. I found a way to get the backlight back on another way. I unplug it and leave it for a minute or two and the plug it back in. The back light comes back. I think its just the backlight failing then. Iv already emailed view sonic about it. surprising through since its less then a year old. It seems everything I baught from newegg is failing. Videocard , Harddrive, Keyboard and mobo lol. Im probably really unlucky.

the monitor is new. Just got it in april Normally the screen gives off its own light illuminating what the pixels are showing. Whats happening is that light turns off. The pixes are still displaying something. If it were a energy saving function that the entire screen would turn off and go into standby. The light would turn orange. Moving the mouse would normally bring it back. Thats not happening.
