Hey guys Do any of you use Last FM?

We were supposed to get a foot of snow here near Chicago but most of it hit north of us. We dont even have an inch though the creek across the street is about to overflow. Not something you see often in December.

Yup I actually just did that a few days ago and the problem went away. All my heatsinks were layered in a casing of dust.

well I dont understand how to install a cgi proxy. Iv never done it before and am very confused. I placed the cgi file into a folder and tried accesing from the web but I was just reverted to the providers homepage.

Hey guys I need some help installing a cgi script. Im willing to even give you a login name and pass to the ftp so you can install it for me if you dont feel like explaining it. Hey guys Iv been freezing up when trying to play games or anything graphic intensive. I looked in computer management and it seems I am getting an error called IC2 Return error. I have the latest driver updates too. Might this be a overheating issue?

If you are on DSL or Cable is proabably your ISP. Mine goes through tempermental times every few weeks or so and when I call up the ISP they always say they are upgrading something here or there and service will be up as soon as possible. If this is only your second time, dont worry about it too much.

Well i want to upgrade to sli later but I want to have that availability. Price range would be around 1300 or so. It may be 1500 actually by the time I get around to buying the stuff. I think it might be better to wait a little longer to see if any good boards come out. Alot of the new ones iv looked at have some strange quirks.

So here I am again looking around to see if its a good time to upgrade my PC. I want to get intel's new core 2 duo chips of course but im having trouble finding a good motheboard. Im not going to be overclocking so i really dont need to worry about that. Alot of the boards on newegg need bios updates or have a very strange PCIe setup (i want to run sli). So whats your guys' take on this? Any specific mobos you guys recoment. Also looking for any RAM reccomendations

I had a quick question about buying the full version of vista or just the upgrade. If I went and baught the upgrade version of vista and later needed to do something like fixmbr or reformat would you be able to do that without reinstalling XP and then upgrading again?

Hello everybody I am looking for a program that can let me sync a folder on a pc with a shared folder on my PC. I want to keep my music collection the same between my two computers. I always add my music to my PC downstaires and Id like to have a program sync my music folder on my laptop to that of the one downstairs. Anybody have suggestions?

Haha i havnt been on this thread in a while. Well back in May I went and got the Gmini and I love it. I have the camcorder edition and iv caught some good momments on the spot with it. Useful thing to have around and the AM/FM tuner makes it perfect.

I made a 15 gig partition which i want to share with my windows OS. How do I mount this drive?

I started using banshee and I like it alot. Reminds me of iTunes a little. Check it out.

I already tried that and got no errors. I also ran the Maxtor Disk utility and found no errors. The frequency of the problem is averaging around 2 times a week now. A hijack this log showed nothing. I really cant think of anything. Its not bothering me as much now because I am using my new laptop but if I can fix this it would be great.

Well my system started to hang alot a few days ago so I went around trying to figure out what was wrong. Lo and behold in event viewer I had errors. Disk errors and Disk warnings. I immideatly downloaded Maxtor's diagnostic tool and ran a full scan on my harddrive. Its passed. But even now my system continues to randomly hang and also my CPU usuage is always at 100 percent even thouhg there really isnt anything using it it task manager. What is going on.

Well thats my goal with linux. Making it look really good. Since im not going to be gaming on my linix OS I can affort to let it look good. Lol my PC box is just plain windows with all the settings turned off to drag that last bit of FPS out.

I have all my music shared through iTunes on my PC. Is there a player in linux which I can use to listen to that music?

I got my new Dell Laptop and installed linux. (Had to send my old lappy to india to my cousins last month). I didnt run into any problems while installing linux thanks my past experiences ( This is the third time installing linux and im still new at this) Im beginning to understand the file system and command line a little more. I just saw something on Digg.com where it said that it had adware. Be careful and look up that article on digg before you install it.

Ok that google search is skewed with bad results. If you use firefox get the Siteadvisor plugin. Its the most useful thing I have ever gotten. Just glancing at that page shows that most of those you should use caution on. Get that plugin before searching for free software like that. Its seriously a must.
