Sir_Siddy replied to Sir_Siddy's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Ok that makes sense. Thanks -
How can I find album art for all my music? I think WMP looks it up and everything but I want to have it so that when I sync with my mp3 player my album art shows up.

Windows search only founda m4a plugin for one of my programs. Ill try that filefind app.

Itunes turned a bunch of my music into .m4a files which my MP3 player cannot play. It takes a really long time to find each invidiual file and tell itunes to turn it back to mp3. Anybody know of a program which can find them for me. I tried windows search but it didnt work.

Well I just conected black to blue. I think those bare wires were part of the foil and insulation. I have another problem now and that is my compute will not detect anything. I tried it on another and it still doesnt work. I looked up some stuff in the fury tech forums an it seem a bunch of people have the same problem. Im guessing there is a loose connection somewhere so I am going to solder the connections together.

I have a question about this quick and easy mod. Heres the website im following. http://www.fury-tech.com/en/Guides/Xbox-Co...-Conversion-Mod The xbox wire im using is from a DDR pad and it has something a little different. It has a blue wire instead of a black one. Im guessing thats the ground but then I noticed there were some bare wires in the middle. They dont have a covering just some bare wires... Would those be the ground?

Iv never seen my harddrive get past 40 C before. Based on what my harddrive temps have been I though 35ish was normal. Iv managed to slip a fan in by lodging it in between two of my power cables. Its helped my temps a little and I havnt had a reoccurence of that problem yet. What would a normal temp on a harddrive be? What would be a hot temp?

I close all unecesary programs. I get this problem mainly with BF2 but that could just be that BF2 is the most graphicly intensive game I have.

Its the internal HD sensor. Id rather not do something permenant like that because I plan on moving out of the case in about a year.

Today was one of the first days where the temperature outside reached 80F. Nice and warm but this also means my room and very warm as well. I noticed all the temps on my PC were higher than normal which I guess is normal. I started to play some BF2 and everything worked fine for about an hour when I started to notice a major slowdown. I mean big where I could move or anything. I had to Alt F4 out of the game. Even then my computer was running incredibly slowly. I turned off my computer and came back about now , An hour later. Windows seems to running normally again. Would my hot harddrive be

I run a 9800 on a Nvidia chipset. 0 Problems unless you count my SATA drives but thats something else.

I think hes right because i dont think I installed drivers for this motherboard during the OS install.
-
I have my primary on the marxell 1 and I have tried the second on on the other three but it hasnt worked. Ill switch out my cables and see what happens. I think on my old motherboard I had to install the drivers. I remember using a floppy during the intall but when I baught this motherboard I think windows found my harddrive and installed properly.
-
I cannot remember If i installed them on this installation of winxp but I think I did. I know I had once but Im not sure if it was on this install or my old one. I have never overclocked my computer but Ill try what you say tictoc.
-
I think up to date drivers were installed cant remember though. How would I be able to check. There wasnt a blue screen the boot just froze. That line that scrolls during boot just froze. The first time I rmaed my drive was because the data I put on the drive started to get corrupted. I did a diagnostic and I found that it was in the red. The other times I rmaed it were because of the same problem I am having now. My motherboard is a DFI Lanparty nf3.

I just got my RMAed Harddrive back AGAIN. This is the third time iv rmaed it. When I plug it in my computer someimes fails to boot windows. When it does boot windows the os runs very slowly and I am unable to view my computer. The drive is my second harddrive and its SATA. Any ideas why this is happening?
