I use flashget and its really usefull plugin (for firefox) flashgot. It splits the file up into 5 parts and downloads them at once.

Get a good wi fi card. My laptop is at least 90 feet + from my router and I can game fine on it. Counter Strike Source shows 0 packet loss. I made the mistake of buying a cheap wifi card for my PC wich is a little closer to the router and I have these sporradic interfearences (hehe please excuse my spelling) from something. I havnt been able to find what that is but it doesnt afffect my laptop.

Sounds exactly like my motherboard problem. Definately get it sent in.

Did you take the wires from inside the computer like from the wires that connect the front ports to the motherboard or did you take it from an actuall usb socket. I was wondering how I could get the power from an actual USB socket

Im also looking for a high performance board. I think though that I will wait one more year before upgrading. AMD is supposed to come out with a new socket next year and is going to drop the 939.

Im not sure If I talked about this already here but Im about to buy a router but I want to make sure (sure as I can before hand) I can use it as a wifi bridge. I think I will go with a Linksys unless you guys tell me otherwise because its the only brand I have heard of. I really have no experiance with routers and such. I plan on using it to pick up a Wifi signal from a router on the other side of my house and provide my PC with internet via a eithernet cable. I know my friend managed this but he had two routers of the same brand. I wont be able to do that because my original router is a 2WIRE

What program are you using to rip the music?

The RAM I currently use is this KINGMAX SuperRAM 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory It was 80 bucks when I got it last year. I dont know weather or not to buy some new RAM

I like DFI alot. I plan on building a high performance system. Ill look around for a slightly cheaper PS though. I dont know if I want to use Asus again. The last board I got from them absoulutely killed me. Their tech support did not help at all either. What RAM would you reccomend for my board?

Im planning on upgrading my PC soon. Iv picked out a board and possible CPU. My board will be a DFI Lanparty nF4 My CPU will be a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ I havnt picked out a Video card as of yet but I think I will be using a nvidia card. I plan on going SLI in the future as well. My only problem is with my powersupply. I need to buy a new one but I dont know much about them brand type or anything. It needs to be 24 pin but I think most new ones are. What are some good models to look at. Im guessing the it may need to be a 550 Watt PS because of the video cards and also my CD drives and harddr

Im having this strange problem with Itunes where it just crashes after about 5 seconds after I open it. It just closes without warning and no popup pops up after it crashes. Iv reinstalled a few times but that hasnt helped. Any ideas?

When I meant organize I ment inside of my music folder there was a folder for each artist. Inside of that there was a folder for each album. I know I can organize playlists in just about anything but to keep the actual music files organized? Iv had no luck yet to find a program that can do it other then Itunes.

So does anybody have an app that can do this. I cant use i tunes becaues it keeps crashing and i cant fix it

Does Windows Media player copy your music into organized folders automaticly?

Iv been using Itunes untill recently only because of its great organizing feature which autmaticly copies all of your music into organized folders. Anybody know of another app which can do the same?

could be a motherboard issue. It really sounds like a failing battery. How did you check the battery and AC cable?

I want to use a temporary solution to my wifi problems. My PC doesnt have a very strong wifi card but my laptop does. Is there a way where I "use" my laptop's internet with just an ordinary ethernet cable linking the two computers?
