  1. Marty I am so sorry to hear you are so sick. I have had pneumonia many times (as a child), so I know how awful it is! I am praying for a fast and full recovery for you, and that you will get rested up and be back on the boards soon. Take care my friend. Merry Christmas, and a Healthy Happy New Year to you. Love Pat. God bless everyone.
  2. Any of those gingerbread cookies left for me? I love ginger cookies and if they can last long enough, they are even better over the next few days, but great hot out of oven too...!!! I've been planning to come over here and post the links to a couple of my favorite Christmas sites. So here they are finally. If you love decorating the place, here's the right site to do it. (turn your speakers on too, yes most of the time mine are off). Elle's Christmas Place Santa Claus site Just found this site, sure looks like a keeper. Christmas Carols, lyrics and history Hubby is home, so off to fix supper
  3. We had many days and nights of wind and cold this month, followed by a transition day of snow/sleet/freezing rain last weekend. That's enough of winter for me. This week feels like a heat wave compared to most of the month, in high 40's and lots of rain, so back to normal around here. Stay warm folks. Love, Pat. God bless everyone.
  4. Merry Christmas everyone, and a Happy, Healthy, Prosperous New Year to all. Love, Pat. God bless everyone.
  5. Well Mac, they still haven't figured out what they want the network to be when it grows up!!! Not only has the G4TV show been cancelled, but so has Call For Help, at least the US version of it. And more changes to come, possibly even a network name change again. I saw a thread or two on G4 about CFH being cancelled, so went over to Leoville and found a couple of threads with some good news links about G4's newest plans. The main issue just makes me furious, how dare they buy the syndication rights of Star Trek, and Star Trek The Next Generation? To have to put G4 back on my Dish favorites ju
  6. Happy Birthday!!! Late getting to this thread, sorry about that. May you be blessed with a long life filled with good health, happiness, and prosperity. Pat. God bless everyone.
  7. Happy Birthday to Bozodog, and Pandy!!! Sorry I am so late getting to your BD thread. May you both be blessed with a long life filled with good health, happiness, and prosperity. Pat. God bless everyone.
  8. That's going to be us the next time some ditzy dame in a parking lot way to small for her huge SUV tries to run me or my husband down as if her time is more important than letting people get to their car in one piece. I hit one car in driver side window with my heavy purse (to bad the window didn't break!) for nearly running over my toes (about four inches or less from my foot) (car left dirt against my pants leg at knee) as she tried to cram her car past the car waiting for another car to pull out of parking space (probably wanting to steal the parking space which was to small for her anyhow
  9. Happy Birthday Samjo! May you be blessed with a long life filled with good health, happiness, and prosperity. Pat. God bless everyone.
  10. Congratulations!!! I am sure you will be kept busy helping people get rid of all that slimeware garbage that's out there just waiting for our wrong move to attack us. We need all the help we can get to be safe, and/or to get cleaned up, from those nasty slime bugs. Such Patience you all must have, first to learn how to do those HJT logs etc, and then the Patience to use them to help people clean up their computers. WOW!!! Pat. God bless everyone.
  11. Happy Birthday Wayne, May you be blessed with a long life filled with good health, happiness, and prosperity. Pat. God bless everyone.
  12. you'll always be loved and welcomed with open arms here. tell me about it, i've been trying to broaden my friends base by going to other forums, even 2 online dating forums, and the others just aren't hame. BTW free online dating sites are so full with jerks, male and female, it scares that the world has so many unhappy nonnice people in it. you should hear some of the advice i got for my profile there. i was even told to flat out lie. scary isn't it? ohhh before i forget (wraps up a trouble fixer upper mattic with a bow on top for thesidekickcat) (and one for blim and bozodog too since i kno
  13. That is so funny!!! #19 I will not move just as my human steps across me. #20 I will not jump up on that narrow window sill, thereby breaking the window, to wait for my owners to come home. #21 I will not howl because my owners are late getting home. #22 I will not eat my owners' slippers and shoes either in fun, or in retribution for them leaving the house without me. God bless everyone.
  14. Thanks for the support folks!!! I really appreciate it. I was feeling a bit stressed over the entire thing, as you all may have noticed, and you folks made it all better!!! I knew I could count on you for support!!! Thanks!!! Just like Chappy said in so many good ways, this is the place to be, to feel safe because we are family here, and people care about each other, it is indeed a miraculous place to be!!! Which brings me back to the op on this thread, sorry for hijacking your thread...hope you don't mind. And the other thing I need to apologize to you for making light fun of what may be on
  15. Happy Birthday. May you be blessed with a long life filled with good health, happiness, and prosperity. Pat. God bless everyone.
  16. Thank You for posting this inspiring story!!! It sure does bring tears to the eyes. If only we can remember to encourage and lift up those who are sad, hurting, and lonely, and give them love and hope for the journey we call life, then we will have done some good here on earth. Pat God bless everyone.
  17. Barb, I just walk right into trouble at times with my eyes wide open!!! Can't blame anyone else, anything, or even the coming full moon...just did this one knowing possible consequences...and didn't care as long as I stuck up for the people being disrespected. Sigh!!! Ha!!! Pat God bless everyone.
  18. Happy Birthday!!! May you be blessed with a long life filled with good health, happiness, and prosperity. Pat God bless everyone.
  19. It does appear to be the name of one of their shows according to this page about their shows. G4 Shows Who knew any of this or cared? Not me!!! Sorry folks, but just not interested in their network and looking through that list, no way would I watch the network again. It has been off my Dish Favorites list for many many months now...probably taken off right after the first show of the G4 network but can't remember now. As for the website, I only have one board in my forum profile list, the one now called Call For Help. Though right now I am skating on some very thin ice there with recent cri
  20. Happy Birthday Chappy, May you be blessed with a long life filled with restored good health, happiness, and prosperity. Love, Pat God bless everyone.
  21. From the sounds of what it takes to remove SpyAxe (also SpyTrooper, and I think there is one other in the clan too), it is a major current (perhaps last six weeks or so) extremely nasty piece of malware. I learned of it while being one of the participants in what turned into a marathon thread with op having many popups including Spyaxe etc, eventually culminating with a HJT log over at G4 recently. Just about when I had the man convinced he could do a HJT log, cabdad posted with his experience recently spending several days trying to get rid of SpyAxe but unsuccessful so did a clean install, a
  22. Thanks Barb for what looks like a great weather site. I typed in Portland Oregon in search, not only is it very detailed for weather, but even gives the latest Mt St Helens earthquakes on same page. Wow! Nice! The photos are great too! Where did you find this great site? Sure glad you shared. Interesting thread all around. Pat. God bless everyone.
  23. Hit the snooze alarm several different times til the cat says get up for her medicine now....! Then the bathroom/shower/dress routine etc, then coffee, coffee, and more coffee. I get the coffee pot ready the night before, so I don't mess it up when I'm still groggy in the morning. I am NOT a morning person but hubby is...sigh opposites do attract and then drive you nuts on the big items like morning people versus the rest of us!!! Now he jokes about it and I compromise as much as possible, but it used to be a huge big deal. And just because I am walking and both eyes might be open, does not
  24. Thanks for the reminder to clean my monitor (and the TV)!!! It was so dirty no wonder I've been squinting at it lately!!! Now it is nice and clean and I can actually see stuff again. I just need to remember to clean it more often. I agree with rhema 7 that those 3M type microfibre cloths are the best cleaning cloths, and the greatest thing is you don't need any other cleaning solutions besides water, just a damp half of cloth to wipe clean and rest to polish everything dry. I've used them for several years, great for the bathroom mirrors and faucets etc, also for windows, kitchen appliances,
  25. Happy Birthday Gimpi, May you be blessed with a long life filled with good health, happiness, and prosperity. Pat God bless everyone.
