Hey everyone! I'm sure you've noticed my absence for the last few days, I was busy getting every little thing on my computer burned to disk, and wiped everything clean. I had years of clutter spanning over 6 partitions and I was sick of it!! Stuff I haven't looked at in years, and piles of old installers and useless crud. So I took some time to go thru absolutely everything, transfered all the stuff I wanted to keep into burnable sized folders on a new partition, and backed it all up onto CD's. Then 2 passes with Active KillDisk on both HDD's, and start out completely fresh again. Everything h

My deepest condolences to you and your family Keith, I hope he went peacefully and with his family by his side. I'm sure he was comforted by your efforts while you looked after him, and I'm positive that he appreciated everything you did for him. That alone would make his passing on to the next life, a very peacefull event.

Count me in! So far I'm in the age group thats in a tie for the lead...I won't tell you which one I'm in tho.

Hiya Hitest! Where you been? I've been a littlt MIA recently myself...I'm teaching my Dad how to use his new computer via email and screenshots. Its taking quite a bit of my time doing this but he needs it, he's never had a computer before. Anyway, good to see you back!

Hey Marty...you're coming to Canada??? You better come visit rv56 and me, we're right next door to you when you get to Edmonton. rv56 is real close and I'm a few more miles away but its only a 7 hr drive to Edmonton from here. If you let me know what date you'll be there, I just may make the drive up there if I'm on days off. Maybe I'll even pick up rv56 on the way and we'll all get together and get drunk on our good ole Canadian beer!!

TK I have been offline for the past little while and totally missed what had happened....I am SO SORRY to hear of your brother's, wifes passing. That is just a heartbreaking situation for all involved, including us...your friends. I sincerely hope that your family can find the strength to accept her loss, and I pray for your brother and his children...what a loss it is for those kids. Although you may think the hard part is over for your brother my friend, in reality..its just beginning for him and the kids. There will be many times in the near future when they will feel like the world has end

Heheh....finally...an American program thats a ripoff from a Canadian program and not the other way around. We did this in Canada around a 1/2 year ago and also had quite a diverse selection of people to choose from, but ours were a little more relevant than say a talk show hostess. The 10 finalists in our program were actually all worthy competitors but the eventual winner was the Saskatchewan Premier that introduced Universal Health Care back in the 60's, that was adopted by all of Canada soon after, Mr Tommy Douglas. Good one Marty!! Scary thing is, I've personally heard them just as..if not more, stupid. There really are people that stupid out there, and thats scary. Just last night I took a complaint call from a tenant complaining that the caretaker of their apartment building hadn't vacuumed the floors for months...true!!! They actually wanted us to come out and tell the caretaker to clean more often! I told them to call the Ambulance...thats their department...we do windows not floors.

I just installed Version 5 a couple of days ago and had initial troubles getting a connection also. Mine is Cable tho so all I had to do was change it to NAT during setup and it has worked great. Lemme see what I can find on dialup config for you but V3 is old and may have issues. It is vitally important tho, that during the setup phase you choose the proper configuration for your type of connection, this may be where you went wrong.
