That place has been on the edge of total disaster from day 1 to start with, it's only a matter of time really. Pete, Mike & myself worked hard to get that place created and then try and maintain the TTV dignity on that board, but the G4 admins totally lacked the foresight and the expertise needed to maintain a forum like that. I personally believe that once they started allowing folks to get away with some stuff they allow there, that they soon lost control over it. These are the uninstallers (rollback options) provided by MS for any of their Critical Updates that come with the rollback option in case of problems. These are not the updates themselves, they're already installed, but if you have issue with any of these and you've deleted them, you have no way to resolve it by uninstalling. While it is "technically" safe to delete these, if you're not having a problem with HDD space, I would advise leaving them alone.

I can't get it! I just get a blank page, first time was an advert kinda thing about kids & drugs (kids have the BEST drugs..) with a spinning wheel, then click Continue but I just went to a blank page. Tried it again and this time no ad but also no page. Progress bar says "Done"...well if the page is a plain white blank window, then I guess it is done...and very well I may add

Thats usually the case in most free things like this Sid, the more advanced features are only available in the paid versions. I'm not sure you'll find one for Windows that will do this in a free version, unless there's an open source one that's been ported for windows systems somewhere. Good Luck tho!

Hi Everyone I just recieved a PM from Marty saying that he just got out of the hospital from a bout with Double Pneumonia! As you probably know, this is a very serious illness and it can permanently damage the lungs if you survive it at all. He said he is still coughing blood at times but that he's on the mend and spending most of his days in bed resting. He won't be posting until he's recovered, so I wanted to take this opportunity to ask our members to send their prayers and best wishes for a speedy recovery!! If the sticky I saw when I visited yesterday is to be believed; Dave and I were just a couple months ahead of time and they will be cancelling Call For Help and closing the board after all. Actually, I think its time to close this one up. As stated, we are in the process of setting up a PRIVATE forum for these types of subjects, where opinions will be allowed to be expressed, but not to the detriment of other members. Issues will be allowed to be openly discussed, views stated, and in many cases, you'l be allowed to get away with a bit more there than you can here, but ONLY if the posts don't start attacking members. Well, not as many folks as you think, knew about this. I've fielded many questions about why a cmd window won't resize horizontally, and these were from folks who are genuine windows experts. Many think it takes a reg hack to do this and many also don't know there's a right-click option for cmd windows. I guess it goes back to their pre NT kernel days...
