some guys at my school got in trouble for playing that game. they played once but had it muted, but they wanted to hear but the morons cranked it and busted for disrupting class. Great clip man. I've never seen a reaction so awesome before.

Man I go as far as installing firefox every week to protect these things (deep freeze causes the things to go back to original setup everytime they are restarted). These computers really do fall apart cause the teacher watches everyone like a hawk. The things just crap out, out of no where. One monitor (HP 7500) started screwing up and was showin green mostly. Had to replace it with 6-7 year old dell monitor that the teacher thought was broke, and it works perfectly. This is what the school should do next time. Either get me or the CCC to build the computers. They'll have AMD Athlon 64 systems

Thanks I'll tell the teacher tommorow that there's a prob with the memory. Ah well ya get what ya pay for. The school cheaps out and gets intel based HP Compaqs they all break down quick. These things have had all kinds of probs. They need to get AMD machines don't they?

Well I tried looking up the beep code already but couldn't find it. Whenever my friend tries to turn on his workstation here at school it starts to beep. It beeps 5 times all the same length then pause and repeats over and over again 5 beeps then pause. I thought maybe something wasn't seated right and popped open the case and push down on some things. It worked for a little bit but then crapped out and started beeping again. And while it beeps the power light blinks with it in red (its normally green). Man these computers are so janked up. In case you need the specs it's Intel Pentium 4 2.8GH

It snowed yesterday and I'm not at school, but to be honest I don't know if school is out or if my mom let me stay home cause I was a little sick. I'll ask when she gets back for lunch. My guess is they called my school system closed shortly after I finally was able to sleep. It snowed 3 days in a row here. Not constantly. Just once in a short burst each day. Usually doesn't happen in this part of Tennessee. It usually snows one day and we don't see any for at least a week.

I can't wait till next season when toyota starts racing.

Just right click my computer and and click properties. Now click the advanced tab. Now where it says performance click settings and uncheck some crap you don't want and that oughtta speed your system up slightly.

well i can't tell ya the model number now cause I'm in my room and don't want to bother anyone asleep but I suppose any of these will do. Lite-On DVD Burners I think mine is the lower end one. I've had mine for a little while yet I still have yet to buy a black Floppy drive to finally complete the system and get rid of beige completely. ( I'm still using an old beige one from a 5 year old gateway)

LITE-ON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry. Yes it sounds like the drive might be defective but a sure fire way to be sure is is take them both out. Set the jumpers on one for master and one for slave. If that don't work then try the drive in another computer. If that don't work well then buy a Lite-O*, I mean another one of those that you bought. Sorry. I just have to say Lite-On cause despite the complaints some have about them (mostly noise related) I have always had good luck with them. actually I think the drivers that came with that 5700 are 5 series. I used the CD that came with my 6600GT. They were 6 series drivers. They worked fine. I jsut don't see why the 8 series drivers didn't work. I did have some 7 series drivers somewhere but I don't know where I put them.

Every time Windows goes bad it's time to reinstall and recover for me. But my XP Home SP2 completely shattered that. With Me it was a monthly reinstall on the Gateway then downgraded to 98se which would last much longer but still needed a fresh install every few months. My sidewinder been running on same install of XP SP2 for over a year now. That's even after a virus attack with 2 viruses at once ( Norton sucks it died first thing thank you AVG for saving my system and thank you system restore). there is an extension for firefox called IE tab which switches it from the FF engine to the IE engine. IE Tab I know it works in windows but I don't know about Linux. (Man I need to get a new PSU for my Compaq so I can use FC4 on it. It's only 200w and still runnin a 5700 ultra but I'm scared an extra HDD will consume too much power and cause reboots plus I hate partitioning)
