whether has been outta whack here in Big Orange Country. Usually we stay nice and cold though the winter. Right now it keeps fluctuating from 30's F and below to 60's and above. It's snowed maybe twice but never stuck. usually we have a snow day or 2 during the school year. Today, we almost had a Rain day. When bridges flood they let us out but it stopped raining just a little early.

the easiest way in XP is to just open your network connections and tell it to repair. It does the same thing it's just easier. I remeber using winicfg in 98. I was confused big time when I got XP. But once i figured out the network connections repair it was simple.

One of my teachers Compaq Workstation With a PIII 800MHz or something 256 megs of ram, TNT2 video card, and Windows 2K Pro. It uses integrated AC97 Audio. Well anthing from the internet and has something to do with audio it is sped up and high pitched. We tried to watch this flash video from Fubz's website. I've been usin this one Fujifilm CD-RW for like 3 years and I have had some memorexs that never worked right when I got them. That Fujifilm for the most part still works. some things, especially large files don't copy correctly from time to time.

Speakin of locked doors. I am an aid in the guidance office at school during second block. I take things to teachers from the guidance office and get students out of class and other things. There is a bulding up on a hill we call the Metal Building for obvious reasons. Well they lock the doors to the hall in it so me and my fellow aid have to use the oustide entrances to each class and freeze our cans off. Plus there is a sign that says use the outside doors to the classrooms. Why even lock them between classes in the first place if you are just going to tell them to use the side doors. We can

for some reason windows update messed up the drivers for the HP card and I couldn't figure out how to fix but I put the Diamond with the AMD chip and it's working perfectly too. I can't believe that realtek card was freezin the system, even on 2 fresh installs of 98se freaky.

it was the network card. I installed the old HP network card with an Intel chip and voila I'm typing this now. I went through a reinstal and losing all my friends stuff for nothing. No biggy though. All it was was music and other random crap he got off the internet. he can recover his 100 MB of stuff pretty quick. Who woulda know the network card was freezin the whole system.

you're using 2K but it is similar to XP. On the 2 SP2 systems I usually use (one home other pro) you right click my computer, click properties. CLick the advanced tab and go to the Starup and Recovery and click Settings. Uncheck automatically restart. It should give you an error code. could be indicating some kind of driver conflict possilbly. I not sure if 2K has this feature though. Also are you using speedfan? it gave me nothing but trouble. I caused my system to reboot randomly a lot, granted i was using it to underclock my processor to cool it off. I got a new HSF to combat that though so

no matter what website it is it freezes. It isn't the video possibly the integrated audio. I think I'll just install again it only takes a half hour.

the best way to tell though is give that person a load of sugar and caffeine. If they are hyper then they don't have ADD, if they tend to mellow out (like I do) then they do have it. Ritalin is basically Speed. Your mind jumps from thing to thing with ADD and Ritalin (or sugar and caffeine) speed the body to match the mind allowing the person to focus on one thing and mellowing them out....like me. It sounds weird but that's basically how it works. When I drink a bunch of soda and eat a big bag of skittles (I did this at school once) I mellow out and focus a little better on my work.

I'm fixing up my old eMachine to give to a friend of mine but everytime I try to access the internet on the dern thing, the whole system freezes up. your speakers are configured to 5.1 correct. well usually all 5 don't play until you are using a program like say Call of Duty that supports it. You'd have to go into the game's sound setting and set it for one of the EAX 3d drivers rather than miles fast 2d. Mine i have the same speakers on an Audigy 2 ZS. In my EAX control panel I use the Stereo surround up mix effect or some of the othes to play my music or other things in full 5.1.
