eVGA is probably the best choice but if money is no object I'd spring for the 400MHz eVGA GeForce 6800GS CO it's few extra bucks but well worth it.

Well here's another 160 with a proven track record also by seagate. only 2 people really had a problem. Another One I don't know why you say the seagtes aren't good right now. they are the only ones with most of the drives 5 egg (star) WD and Maxtor were all 4 egg. I tell ya though those old seagate medalists last ages, I have two 8 year old ones that I still use for storage or use in a tower but not now that i have two 20 gig WD ones. one that I can use for linux in the Compaq and one i can use as the gateway's drive. Try snoopin Newegg, it's just about the best place on the planet for getting parts. They are cheap fast shipping and a Ginormous selection. They also have full systems too.

Try this registry hack it was always 2 downloads for me. Try Firefox too. It lets you download more than 2 or 3 without tweaks. You really won't get your downlaods much faster anyway the more files you download at once the slower each downloads, or at least that's my experience.

if it is saying page cannot be displayed, click start>All programs>accessories>Communications>network connections. You ought to be able to just Right click the network connection he is using and click repair. Either that or double click it and click the Support tab and click repair.

The owner of a local computer shop I hang out at all the time always uses PC-Cilin and he loves it. He installs it on every computer he builds.

On my main system I use both Norton and AVG. Norton usually runs as Primary and when it slips up or dies (and a Virus killed it once with AVG cleaning the mess up). When Norton runs out in April, I'll run just AVG and replace the Norton firewall with a free one or something. Norton SUCKS. Actually I also have a router so I have double firewalls. Now on my room system right now I just run AVG and Windows firewall but I think I'll try a free firewall.

FF - 17MB IE - 19MB When opened up to Homestar Runners Site main page 3 they both ran about the same at 21-22MB. *Note this is on my Bedroom computer. the only manufactured PC I'd get would be an Alienware, VooDoo, Falcon Northwest, or ABS and that would be just for a laptop. Otherwise I build my own. If I were to buy a new one made by someone else it'd have to be from the local shop called The CCC.
