I purchase BF2 Eurogorce and downloaded the EA installer. After that I download Euroforce, then installed it. However, it shows no signs of being installed on my computer since I don't have the new levels and it still tells me to download Euroforce. Anybody know what I can do?

Which I don't understand as they finally got it right and have a light come on when any guage is out of the proper operating range, essentially telling you "Look at the darned guages fool!" How do you miss the guage, AND the light telling you to LOOK at the guage? When you drive a classy automobile such as mine (cough, 11 year old Chevy Blazer) you assume that the guages are off - espeically when I've had "full tank of gas" - and I filled 14.5 gallons in my 15 gallon tank! (I just fill up when I hit 200+ miles)

That's the only reason that the Corvette is appealing among that crowd

There is a company that originated in Europe that organizes customer outings in which you get to drive a variety of cars, ranging from Ferrari 430 to a Bentley GT. My dad's work received a free try-out of the company to see if they wanted to use it for its outtings. Shame you had to be 25 to drive, hmm wonder why?, but it was fricken awesome just riding along. Top speed of the day, personally, was 110 in the Ferrari 430 on the Interstate, we did 75 on the on-ramp hugging the curves. Overall top speed was 140 in a 45 in the Lambo - the instructors had you drive 75 MPH in 6th gear, red line i

My service shop, actually a trustable place, is going out of business because the state is deciding to build a 8 lane bridge in, which needs an 8 lane road, wiping out the station. I dread ever going to Jiffy Lube (some people I go to high school with work there!)

Woops, double post. It's been a hard 3 weeks at work (I'm suprised my boss even had me come in since there wasn't too much to do) But around here it always back up, we'll have weeks with 25+ computers to fix, and others with less than 7

It's fairly descent, but it's won't find everything

Nobody will go out and buy a brand new computer because of this. Joe Blow doesn't know how to use Linux, and he definitly doesn't want to go out and purchase a new computer. You can expect some sort of problem to take place with the new idea - but there are always issues in everything new. However, 10 times out of 10, unless you have a pirated copy, if you call up Microsoft (or India) and tell them, you'll get a new code when you have activation problems

Do you have XP w/ SP2, built in firewall is fine

God forbid they attempt to enforce the STEALING of their software. PIRACY IS ROBBERY And if people hate Microsoft SO MUCH, somebody will come out with a retail Operating System that will be better then them. (of course, easier said then done - the process of getting together zillions of lines of code for a operating system like XP, of course there will be patches and fixes!)

Don't be knocking the 80's music - it's the best because anyone can sing in (anyone could make it) and the words are easy to understand!

Personally - i'd rather crack open the case and write down board numbers then to take the time to boot up ubuntu (which I've done to recover files before) Just a personal thing I guess

I thought Gateway bought Alienware? Durn - google proved me wrong!

I have had good luck with emahines websight. They seem to have all of the drivers I need. HPs seems to not have most of thier drivers listed. I have never gotten drivers from DriverGuide.com. I usually just goto the chipset manufactures: sis, intel, via. Since most different manufactures use common chipsets I'm talking about Modem's, NIC cards, on board audio - on DriverGuide you can usually punch in numbers off the hardware (or do that through google) and get your driver

I've got my XBOX controller hooked up to my PC through a similar mod - it just takes time to load the specific control commands for games!
