  1. No, Blim. No family there, but has a few friends living there. One was here in Philly on holiday, and the other is safe and helping a friend of hers that was burned quite badly in one of the blasts. Thanx for asking.
  2. You bet. Rural areas won't see dsl or cable for a long time. This is looking real good and the UK is also doing some hookups.

    Fresh Start

I think it's important to know you acknowledged and loved while they were alive, grief and tears after death is too late. God bless all the great parents out there that raised such a wonderful community as is found here. And are raising the next genenration of caring, considerate, loving, people.
  4. Ok, so the *barely* under 50's is dropping... So buck up and admit it all!
  5. Yayy! Another geek is born. Whatta great bunch of pics. Best wishes to you and your family. (*wonders why Mrs. Toc is never on-line)
  6. Hot daym! That is one great vid... It didn't take anytime at all to load. (3meg cable)
  7. Bless all you folks in danger! I hope you don't suffer any damage to life or limb.
  8. Why don't you carry business cards? Heh, you know almost just like your sig? You are a nice, intelligent man, with a lot to offer the right gal. (*I* married a geek just in March) Go for it! If you you blabber and lock up, just hand them a card with your phone # and e-mail on it. You never can tell where it will go.
  9. Ok, one *BIG* rant! F*ck the terrorists and the hole they climbed out of! And their hatred preaching "religious leaders" Burn in hell you b**tards! I'm praying for you. You damn cowards ought to put on a uniform and fight on a battle field against *real* warriors, not innocent people just trying to make a life for themselves and theirs.
  10. Real nice site Pierce. Lot's of work there keeping up with all the news... Congrats! (I liked the article about compact flash cards. Nice to know if I drop my camera in the water [ewww] the pics will be saved.)
  11. Gollieee Handplane. I sure love your sig. Nice job my man.
  12. Blim, southernlady is on the SE side. near the Ohio boarder. (*sneaks the lurkers some Cheeto's and pretzels)
  13. Blim, get you a router *and* a roto-zip. Oh, and if you really wanna do some wood projects have hubby get you a nice power mitre saw. That's my favorite sawdust making tool. And of course you should have two, three types of sanders too. The Brit knows/does electrical stuff but he has never seen a US set-up. So this project was mine to direct. The UK runs on 3-phase 220volt, so our grounding is a bit different. I re-wired this ole place shortly after I bought it because it still had all the knob and spool wiring and only 2 15amp breakers for the whole house. And, plumbing is easy with those
  14. Yeah Robroy, it definitely is the express mode syndrom. But then I always did love to go fast. And I don't do it often. The p0lice were a concern but there wasn't any traffic at all that nite.(Brit had pleanty of adult beverage on-board so he felt no stress) Blim, I don't blame your little doggy for that.. He probably wants to make friends with it so he didn't have to bark at the rest.
  15. I knew there was an answer somewhere! Chappy, you hero. Pm me with info on how to come and visit soon.... The Brit and I are going to Detroit soon.
  16. Sorry Jennie. Have you gotten help elsewhere? If not , we will look closer and try to help. You have been posted for too long.
  17. Sit on the phones?? Or get a job to pay the cell bills?
  18. If my body was a car, this is the time I would be thinking about trading it in for a newer model. I've got bumps and dents and scratches in my finish and my paint job is getting a little dull, but that's not the worst of it. My fenders are too wide to be considered stylish. They were once as sleek as a little MG; now they look more like my mother's old Buick. My seat cushions have split open at the seams. My seats are sagging. Seat belts? I gave up all belts when Ben & Jerry's opened a shop in my neighborhood. Air bags? Forget it. The only bags I have these days are under my eyes. Not coun
  19. She's almost 5 going on puppy... still acts like one. Heh heh, Bubba. I have a hubby, and yes it was me doing better than 100mph. The Brit, (Pipex) left depressions in the armrests, but denies it. Gypsy likes going fast. She plants her butt on the back seat and her head is at my shoulder, ever ready to plant a big wet kiss when she's having fun..
  20. I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it.
  21. close bearskin... ya got me by a few years
  22. You better pile on some sleep between now and Sunday... Yer gonna need it.
  23. You can see just how big Gypsy really is in this pic... Olivia is 5 years old.
