  1. You bet Blim... He's real good at a lot of other things though. A few weeks ago I came home from work and he was stringing a clothes line. (ruh ro, I thought, he's gonna want me to start hanging outside) But no... he has taken over doing *and* putting away the laundry. I calls him Mr. Mop. Tenmm, that's the way they work... Needs the testosterone to run properly. Robroy, he's like a kid in a candy shop. I have many, many years collection of tools. I've become his "tool handler" (except with the small engines, he can't seem to get or keep them running) But all other projects are skillfully co
  2. (Read this to yourself aloud - it's great!) If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port, and the bus is interrupted at a very last resort, and the access of the memory makes your floppy disk abort, then the socket packet pocket has an error to report. If your cursor finds a menu item followed by a dash, and the double-clicking icon puts your window in the trash, and your data is corrupted cause the index doesn't hash, then your situation's hopeless and your system's gonna crash! If the label on the cable on the table at your house, says the network is connected to the button on your mouse,

  7. You bet Bubba Bob, a '94 GMC safari at that! With 190K on the odometer. And I think it must be a bit uphill, because we were eastbound from lake Michigan, inland. But then I wouldn't knock Fords... My dad was a test driver for Ford and he always said don't bite the hand that feeds you. So I drove Fords for many years. Switched to Chevys in the 70's bacause they looked better. Drove the wheels off a Toyota over 200K, and have had two dodge minivans. Being an owner of a 120 pound, 38" tall, Great Dane, I have to have a van. She just don't fit in anything else. (she hated my Toyota, and refused t
  8. WHOOPEE! Congrats to mom and dad! Welcome to the world Jacob Thomas.
  9. Shucks, I forgot to tell you all. My Chevy pup pinned the speedometer at 100mph Sunday nite and was still climbing. WeeeHa! (scared the hell outta the Brit and probably wasted too much gas. But what fun!)
  10. *plugs in the 50amp charger to bring all the new bots up to power, hoping for a lightening strike to zap several 100,000 volts into them. Giving them a mind of their own and not under Mac's control any longer. "live free and prosper, bots!" *makes Mac a nice grill fired pizza with extra cheese..

Dang! My Brit did that to me shortly after he moved in.. I *hated* it! Too much time spent just reorganizing. (think I still have stuff I wanted but can't remember... ) Must admit though, I am better organized, just have to tackle the pics file. Ewwww!

  18. Jeech! $2.34 this morning... What's up with that? Did they save the increase for after the holiday? How about some good old Heart DJ Mac?
  19. Someone beat you to it Mac. I have a CD with 13 novels by David Weber. The Honor Harrington series. It came in his last book with the offer to copy it, which I got from the library. You can download one of his right now at: http://www.baen.com/

  21. *sending lightening and thunder boomers Macs way, so he can charge up the little bots...* And himself... BTW... I noted one one of my google searches that nitris oxide is also in catnip essential oil.
  22. Lady bugs are the greatest! I came home from work one afternoon and saw aphids all over my tomatoe plants. Uh oh... time for a sudsy spray down, tomorrow. Heh heh, the next day the lady bugs had a BBQ party.... no aphids. And no damage to the plants. (I think my cat keeps the praying mantis away. Lots of meat there) There is also a resident toad that does a fine job of pest removal.
  23. Not Tha-a-a-a-at!!!! Nope not me, takes a dip before leaving the beach and changes before heading home. It's the sand in the salty snaks that get me all the time. Ewwwww!
