  11. Cold front has some through. We are expecting 4 days in the 70s with nights in the upper 50s and lower 60s. This is the weather I like around here.
  12. 10 tabs and it uses less than 1 GB of RAM? Oh my! Opera 9.51 with 10 tabs uses up on average 21% of my ancient AMD XP 2400+ CPU and a whole 36,000k of my 768MB of ram. Of course these figures would be lower if I logged into each site opened.

  17. You need to contact the manufacturer of your PC. Your Office install is a trial version offered by a proprietary PC maker.
  18. It's been in the upper 70s to mid 80s, a touch humid with popup showers around here. Yesterday a strong thunderstorm passed through and knocked out the power. I just love doing electrical work and all of a sudden hear a loud boom while I am messing with bare live wires.

  20. He called the police? I would have fired one warning shot then ordered then to drop my stuff, tell them to sit on the ground and wait for the cops. One shot around here and every city, county and state cop would be rushing to get in on the action.
  21. I can see why there would be problems. That stripped version contains ancient and incompatible applications. It cannot be readily updated and therefore a major target for malware. I definitely wouldn't be using BitTorrent on it.
  22. Looking at your HijackThis log puzzled me. It seems to be incomplete for a fresh install of Vista. I also noticed Acrobat 7.0 installed which causes problems with Vista. Where did you obtain your Vista DVD?
  23. You should have started your own thread with this problem. What operating system are you using and what are your computer specifications?
  24. It's easing up. Just a little sinus congestion, but nothing major. Appetite slowly working it's way back up. The chicken is on the bbq.
