I've worked on a few Dells that were like that. I asked the people if they had forced air heat and if so did they ever change the furnace filter or cleaned out the ducts. Many of them were shoved under desks near the heat ducts. One was worse than that. The lady owned several cats. There was more fur in the PC than on her cats.

Question On Power Supply Failure
TheTerrorist_75 replied to spirittoo's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
My friend says he wants UBS ports in the back and front .... are there any cases like that on this site to fit his hardware or are the UBS in the back are on the mobo? Thanks for the link The USB for the back should be on the motherboard. The Enermax cases have extra USB ports on the fronts. They should fit his needs. -
Question On Power Supply Failure
TheTerrorist_75 replied to spirittoo's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
El-Cheapo cases come with crappy power supplies that are prone to failure. One of these cases cost a few bucks more but have excellent power supplies. Enermax -
That's how some towns do it that aren't used to snow. Our crews are excellent at removal due to all the practice they receive. Of course they only have 53 miles of city streets, 30 blocks of downtown sidewalks, 3 canal access roads and 10 municipal parking lots to clear. They handle this with 4 plow trucks with sanders, 3 pickups with plows, 2 front loaders, 2 bobcats and a huge snowblower.

Did you read this? MSN Block-Checker Removal You may have to reinstall it to remove it correctly.

You could have left the harddrive in one of the older PCs that works and used a Win98/ME bootdisk to format the drive. There is probably no way you can put XP on any of those. In fact if there is little memory you may have a problem getting anything newer than 98 to run on them.

Depending on the drives you may have to set the jumper on the Master to Master with slave drive instead of Master single drive. I would just completely unhook the Master drive and temporarily replace it with the drive you want to work on. Set that as Master. Are you trying to use this as a spare drive?

What Do You Have To Do To Get Your Day Going?
TheTerrorist_75 replied to macmarauder's topic in Open Chat
A hot mug of coffee or tea, glass of cranberry juice and a bowl of oatmeal or fried egg on whole wheat toast sandwich then about 4 cigarettes in the morning get me started. After that dumping a 10 pounder and a hot shower fully charges me and I'm ready to take on the world. It used to be the 10 pounder, hot shower, slice of cold pizza, 2 Buds, 2 double Jacks and half a pack of cigs. -
Bring a truck, some shovels and plenty of friends. You can have all that you can load and then some.

Q's About Old Hp And Win2kpro Upgrade
TheTerrorist_75 replied to KeithLDick's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
If it has limited memory you may be better off putting Win98SE on it. HP may not have the drivers for that old of a PC. You will need to search for them online. -
We've received 43.5" so far this season. More lake effect on it's way this weekend.

No blade. It's a 14HP lawn tractor with a 42" mower deck and 24" blower. I sold my old 8N Ford tractor many years ago. That had a blade and would start in the worse weather. I could kick myself in the butt for doing that. We have received 43.5" of snow so far this season. We are ahead of normal snowfall for this time of year. Looks like we are going to surpass our regular 200".

If you want to remove your tracks in Opera just go to Tools and click Delete private data... Opera - Naked Joy of Surfing

Nope. Had a problem and needed to send the tractor into the shop. I doubt that old single stage blower could have handled this heavy crap anyhow. A frind of mine showed up awhile ago with his plow truck and tried to move some of the banks I created onto the side lawn. The ground is still so soft from all this summer's rain that he sunk his truck to the axles. I had to call another friend to bring over his wrecker to get him out. Now I have deep ruts to fill in the spring.

Break time. I wish I could still drink my JD. There's over a foot of fresh snow outside. It didn't start until 2AM and starting coming down at about 2-3 inches per hour. It doesn't look like it is going to be an easy winter. Darn windchill was around zero. I'm already tired of shoveling. At least it isn't Denver with about twenty below windchill readings. Edit Wow!!! 2 1/2 hours to clear enough room for 5 cars plus 70 feet of sidewalk 5 foot wide. I still have to shovel the rest of the main driveway that can hold 4 more cars. This crap was full of moisture. My arms feel like they are made of l

Which Laptop Should I Get?
TheTerrorist_75 replied to DarkestDream's topic in Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod
Don't forget to have your parents get you some warm winter clothes. The wind is biting cold coming off the lake in Rochester. The campus is wide open to those winds when walking outside. In the spring it is still chilly with high winds. The fall is the same. -
*Tosses a couple of logs in the wood stove* Brrrr! Darn lake effect. I froze my butt off shoveling all this crap out of the parking lot.

You want VIA 4 in 1 Driver V4.38. This is your motherboard drivers including the IDE controllers. IWILL Product Home > Legacy Product > KK266

Are your problems related to having WinXP CD with SP1 but you updated to SP2 on the PC? If so you need to slipstream SP2 to WinXP with SP1 first then install the Recovery Console. Is this correct? Slipstreaming Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) Installing Windows XP Recovery Console You receive an error message if you try to install the Recovery Console on a Microsoft Windows XP Service Pack 2-based computer
