You could do a search for wifi antennas to increase the distance of the radio, but in your caase it sounds like you should look into the wireless card. Is it "built in". What is the capabilities? Also if the antena is detachable....... you could fabricate a jumper(s) so the antenas could be seperated to different areas closer to the area where you are going wireless. What is the floor/ceiling structure made of? This would block the 2.4 gHz signal. If you use the wireless machine upstairs mostly wire the router to the upstairs area with the downstairs machine connected via wire. M

I have a friend rrunning '98 with Outlook 2000 on a laptop. They want to leave the mail on server, but I can't find the option. I can find it in O'look 2003(XP). Their home machine has Win2k with O'look 2000 it leaves the messages on the server.? The laptop sometime can't reply or fwd outside the domain. Can reply and fwd to others with an addy of [email protected] when his addy is [email protected]. M

I am an a few email list. When Outlook downloads these emails there is alwaysmultiple emails. If a person responde to five emails on the list I get five emails if two then I get two. I updated outlook. Tried what M$ KB said. I use OE6 at home with "leave a copy on server" enabled. This is so I can check mail at night and still have it in the morning at the office. Sometimes I get in and have 400 F'ing emails I have to delete 75% of them. Looking into going to OE but it loads so damn slow when the folders fill up. M
