Currently only available for FireFox version 1.0PR, is a new extention called WeatherFox. This great little extension allows you to set it up so you can always view your local forecast in your Firefox Browser itself. The forecasts come straight from the Weather Channel's website. No more clunky weather programs to clog up your resources! I've been using this nifty extension for a few days now and am proud to say that I am more than pleased with it. Check it out for yourself! WeatherFox 0.5

In Firefox V 1.0PR, if you want to make firefox open ALL links in new tabs, you can do so this way: Tools > Options General > Tab Options... There are plenty of options there. If you only want to make SOME links open in new tabs, you coulc right-click and select "open in new tab" If you have a mouse with a middle button or clickable scroll, it should be set up to just let you middle-click to open in new tabs. If what you are wanting, you can't find in these, or the options as shown above, then you could always try to tabbed browsing extention found here.

There are a LOT of great ones showing up now! I really can't wait til I'm able to finish mine and show you all what I"ve been working on. I did a little more work on it today during my break from homework, but it hasn't been easy. -
What type of internet connection are you trying to run? If you are connected through a router, are you wired, or wireless? If wireless, what wireless adapter model do you have? I'm not too sure about the loading time, but I've had 2 different distros of Linux, and both always took longer to boot up than windows.

ok, with that first code, I got the following: I also know that Fedora DOES support networking since eventually we will be learning that in class, but we won't be doing anything with wireless networking. Thanks for the information on the SU command. <edit> was just trying to set up my printer when I realized I have another major problem.....my printer isn't supported for linux.... I have a Lexmark X5150 all-in-one printer. So far, my research has resulted in no luck. Before, when you had me checking to make sure that linux was registering that my wireless card was connected, I noticed

Thanks Chappy! I couldn't remember the exact reasons.

Crow, you make wonderful points....but when all is said and done, common sense isn't really all that common now is it? LOL Such a shame....

your friend didn't do anything wrong. Like Mikex said, that's just the way it is with HD's

I've got KDE set up on my box.

Everyone I've talked to lately who has cable has been having some connection problems as well. I have Comcast Cable here, and it's been up and down as well. Some people are having more problems than others though.

oh sure! Just mention what nic said, like I never said anything! LOL j/k Anyway, JSKY...I was thinking the same thing about a flash banner (never did anything with flash before), but I also don't have the time. I'm having a hard enough time trying to be able to work on the basic banner! *grumble* stupid school work -
satellite and wireless networks have been having a lot of connection problems over the past few days. Even cell phone connections are going downhill as well.

Dont you think that's B's decision to make when voting should start? Just curious. -
hey tictoc, tried what you said and got the same results. From what I've read, many people have had a rough time getting the MA101 to work properly, but several people had. If it were possible, I'd just get a new card, but it's not. Thanks for the help anyway.

The whole time I've been using firefox, I've never had any problems with popups. The the new re-installation of windows, I've installed the 1.0PR version. I haven't used it yet, but I will be working on finishing setting up the rest of my programs this weekend.

I think so, but am not sure. I would check it out though anyway.

The thing about Kazaa lite is that it wasn't even built by the same people....which is another reason why it is so hard to get that version now. The creators of Kazaa filed a lawsuit against the creators of Kazaa Lite for copyright infringement and other things. Every program has it's holes....Kazaa Lite proved it fixed the holes that Kazaa Lite had. <edit> I would also like to add that I no longer use Kazaa Lite because files had gotten too hard to find on it since lots of users started switching. I now use a program called Shareazaa.

MSN groups are really nice. I belong to a few groups there and really like it.

I understand the concerns everyone has with CCLEANER, but I must say that I've had ir and ran it for several months and had absolutely no problems with it. I did finally get rid of it cause I was referred to a program that cleans out everything CCleaner does and more. This one even has a plugin that cleans out your prefetch folder. Been using it for about 3 months now, and I'm overly pleased with it. Disk Cleaner (Thanks to Sultan for showing me this one.)

The current version is 1.0PR (Preview Release). The final release of 1.0 is due out Oct 11th. Just checked the roadmap and it looks like they are still on target with that release date. It's only 4 days away, so it might be worth waiting for, but that is entirely up to each person.

I used Kazaa Lite for a long time, and never had any problems with spyware or viruses. Yes, Kazaa has spyware, but NOT KAZAA LITE. She is safe with the version she has. I even went through my computer using numerous apps to verify this and found it completely true. Kazaa lite was a version produced without the spyware and crap that Kazaa normally comes with.

Yes, I know....USB Wifi...not my choice, not my choice at all.....no money to get a new one, so I'm stuck with it. "iwconfig: command not found" "ifconfig: command not found" yeah....I'd say they turned up something interesting...lOL Thank you for the help you are providing me with it. I truly appreciate it.
