I love the stones, probably my all time favorite. I love the blues, and the stones have very strong blues roots. Enjoy the concert :-)

if it is similar to xp, the main differnce is in licensing. The full verison will allow you to install and uninstall, then reinstall to a different computer. Technically it is not permitted to use either the upgrade or OEM version on two differnt computers, even if you uninstall it off the first. The OEM and upgrade version do not even allow you to upgrade your motherboard. To answer your question, all of the features are still available(assumbing it is like XP)

Vista Rc2 Available For Download
shanenin replied to shanenin's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I am not sure if it will allow you to upgrade, but I do not think it will(I think it is disabled). I am and would reccomend a clean install, it will give you the best result. -
If you really wnat to test and use it, I would reccomend a dual boot. If you have unallocated space on your harddrive, vista can be installed thier and run along side xp with no torubles. I am not sure if you would have any problems booting it from a slave drive. I think virtual machines are neat for some stuff, but to truly use vista, a virtual machine would feel really boggy(slow).

Vista RC2 is avialable for download. I am not sure if they are still giving out keys. So long as you have a key from rc1(or pre rc1) you can use that http://download.windowsvista.com/preview/rc2/en/download.htm

Removed Pcmcia Card, Laptop Crashed

If it was me, I would try a clean install. If that does not fix it, you need to start looking at individual hardware components. -

thanks guys, I greatly appreciate the input. My wife also likes the second one better. What do you think about the second one with a slightly smaller logo?

My wife and I are not in agreement of which phonebook ad is better. I would appreciate you guys opinion. This is costing me a small fortune, so I need to get it right. The phone number is going to be changed to blue, and the logo will be sharpened up a bit, it is now a little jagged or

when he says mcafee, he would be referring to the firewall. If you have any firewall, temporaly disable it to see if that helps. To be extra careful, you may want to disconnect from the internet before doing that.

I have been a food server most of my adult life. I think for average service 15% is fair, for good service 20%. I tend to tip above 20% for very small checks. For example, I will usually leave $3.00 on a $10.00 check. On exceptional service I usually leave 25%($10 on a $40 check). Being a tipped employee, I really appreciate being tipped well myself. I feel it nessesary to return that to other food servers. I think most waiters EXPECT 20% from other waiters they serve food to. I have never been to sonics, so I am not sure what I would leave. It would depend on the leval of service they provide

you need to add "none of the above" of those three I prefer ubuntu

it installs very similar to XP(no floppy needed). My first thought is to have him make sure his computer is set to boot first from the cdrom. edit added later// what problem did he have when trying to install it form the cd?

Laptop Under 1000 Dollars
shanenin replied to 0ptimus-prime's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
My main thought is yoou want to get a dual core cpu. Dell was advertising an xps with dual core for $629, i am sure you could really soup it up for $250 more dollars. edit added later// I think that promotion has ender. Now the least expensive xps I see is $1200. at $629(shipped), that was a steal. -
It is. That's why this has to be People and not Bots IMO. AFAIK, nobody has made a bot that can read the image and respond correctly to it, since the fonts used are not commonly recognized. I've even had some that I couldn't read myself sometimes, and had to re-register to get to one that I could read...yeesh! I get kind of panicky sometimes, "What if I can't read it". Yes i'm neurotic.

Moving Hard Drive Contents
shanenin replied to marinerschas2's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I agree, it would be easiest to just install clean, plus it will give the best result, but..... If I am reading it correctly , the only piece of hardware that is changing is the harddrive. He wants to transfere the emachine install to a smaller harddrive, but still have it run the emahcine. The drivers will still match his emachine, so thier should not be a problem in that regard. Without researching this, I think this would work 1. use a program like partition magic to resize your windows install on the emachine from a 100gb partition down to something smaller then 30gb. 2. use a backup pro -
sure, I bet image verification would be very hard to get around.

Thanks. i will experiment with this new found information.

you say inline elements can't have a width property set. My understaning is the "a"(anchor) is an inline element. Then why does the width property work with this example? <html> <head> <style type="text/css"> ul { float:left; width:100%; padding:0; margin:0; list-style-type: none; } a { float:left; width: 152px; text-decoration:none; color:white; background-color:purple; padding:0.2em 0.6em; border-right:1px solid white; } a:hover {background-color:blue} li {display:inline;} </style> </head> <body> <ul> <li><a href="#">Link one</a>&
