Yeah you can go to the manufacturers website and download the latest drivers for the scanner. Twain is the way the scanner talks to the computer. If you get the drivers they should include the twain files

start, control panel, system, then click on the system restore tag, check the 'turn off system restore' then apply, ok Then re run the scans after they have run go back and restart system restore
