Yes, this could be a variety of things. When you get access to the computer, if you could post the entire error message, we could look into it more efficiently. A quick google says that this is probably a VBScript problem or a server object error. Matt

Alright marty, good to know it is working now. I think it was just a board issue, because when you posted this, some people in the chat reported problems even loading the site. Anyhow, good to know it is fixed Matt

Well, I'm not sure about getting the AIM Express app, and the also may not want you to do that. But anyway, If you don't figure out how to get it on there, you could try something like this: http://javascript.internet.com/forms/aim-message.html Edit: I just looked at it more, the link I posted may require the user to already be on aim on their computer, which could defeat the point. Spybot Immunize And Host File Is Related?
Matt replied to DarkestDream's topic in Spyware/Adware Information
Hi Liz. No the host file is different from the restriced site. A host file, stored on the computer's filesystem, is used to look up the Internet Protocol address of a device connected to a computer network. The host file describes a many-to-one mapping of device names to IP addresses. When accessing a device by name, the networking system will attempt to locate the name within the host file if it exists. Typically, this is used as a first means of locating the address of a system, before accessing the Internet domain name system. So simply, if the hostfile contained this: 69.11.11.111 auto -
Hi marty, Yes there are sites that allow free music downloads, but in most places, they are illegal. You can, however, get free legal music from http://purevolume.com this site houses many underground bands--some of which are very good. The site is all mp3, so it will work on an iPod. Other sites to consider: http://ccmixter.org/ http://magnatune.com/ http://www.opsound.org/ Matt

The following is a document from 'American Anthropologist 58 (1956)': So who were these people that had such a strange lifestyle? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Read the title of this thread backwards. Crazy to think about a culture in those ways isn't it? But when you really analyze it all, it all fits! Matt

Well, from age 6 to like age 10, I went by the username of "DragonfireMH". By sixth grade, (god, that was like 4 years ago!) myself and fellow peers began to see that as "lame" or "un-cool." A very good friend of mine thought of "Mr.Matt" but we both knew that that would be stupid. Trying to sqeeze both fun, and originallity into the name; we stubled upon "MistaMatt." Since usernames without numbers are rare, I didn't get that on many registrations, so, I added the year of my birth to the mix; thus concluding in "MistaMatt90." You can call me that, or Matt. I usually just sign posts wi

Hey Naming is hard. A static IP address is an IP address that is fixed and never changes. This is in contrast to a dynamic IP address which may change at any time. The option to choose a proxy, would act as a 'middle man' between you and what you are coneecting to. So, what you are connecting to will see the proxy's IP not yours. Matt

Installing Programs On Xp System
Matt replied to stanman8810's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Hi stanman8810, 1. Yes, it should be done via an admin account--that will ensure there are no permission problems. 2. Yes, they should run on all users, just make sure, if asked during install, they select the option saying 'install for all users'. Hope this helps. Matt -
hmm well that confirms you are using a static IP. The steps I provided will not work. You could leave your modem disconnected for a few days and see if your IP address changes, thats a trick I did once. But, you probably don't want to go that way. Matt
