These babies are going on tomorrow!!!

Actually, I've had the Z-4's for about a year and a half, and I've had a set of X-530's that are about 2-3 years old that are still fine. My Z-640's lasted about a year or 2 but I broke them my self doing something stupid (don't ask). I miss those, they were my favorite set of 5.1 speakers. My Z-4's are 2.1. I also bought some Altec Lansing BX3's from Walmart for $30 2 years ago. They don't sound that great in comparison to the Logitech's but boy have they lasted. I've been using them on my TV almost the whole time rarely turning them off. I believe now they've been turned on for 10 months wit

I bought some Logitech Z-4's for $50 at Office Max. Best speakers I've ever owned. Of course, I really want the Z-2300, Z-5300, or Z5500 but they are expensive. More than $25 for a set of 2.0 speakers is too much. I got some old Altec Lansings that like 6 years old that still sound fine and some JBL platinums that came with a Compaq that sound fine. I got those for free. I stick to Logitech mostly for speakers. I've had 3 sets and loved them all.

Well, yeah, it's not tornado season yet but when you have sudden temp fluctuations from 20-30 degree weather to 60-70 weather back and forth, it's bound to happen.

Possibly the resolution is incorrect. LCD's have a Native Resolution they are meant to run on (which is also their max res). In my case, my LCD's native res is 1280x1024. When the res is set to that, it's clear and perfect looking but if I set it any lower than that, it'll look fuzzy and messed up. Since the pre windows stuff is displayed at a lower res, it's going to be fuzzy. Quite often when installing games, the game defaults to a certain res depending on your system's performance. It doesn't know you have an LCD. Usually mine default to 1024x768 (newer games, many older games default to t

try installing the Combined Community Codec Pack. It has every codec for practically every piece of media out there that is compatible with pretty much any media player. These codecs work in WMP, Winamp, Zoom Player (comes with the pack), Media Player Classic (also comes with it), VLC, and I'm sure others. It's a must have for anime watchers like me. Give this a shot and see if it fixes your prob. I have FF and the CCCP installed on both my XP main rig and Vista laptop and have 0 sound trouble out of videos. The Combined Community Codec Pack

Daijoubu desu Yeah a bunch of crap happened around me but luckily my particular area of TN was not hit bad. It was mostly around us. I was sitting in Programming class (night class) and my friend behind me, his mom called him. She told him about the tornado warnings and such and he had an hour drive home. I think the stuff had passed by the time we left though. It was just real windy here. I live 7 minutes from school so no probs for me anyway. We had some insane stuff happen though. A gas line somewhere exploded and there insane fires that emergency crews didn't know about. Nobody could ge

It got up to 71 yesterday. But late later on in the evening, we had bad storms throughout the state. In Tennessee, 24 confirmed dead and 149 injured. Luckily my area just got some high winds that snapped some tree limbs and maybe broke a tree or 2.

Damn, I just got a call from Weksos Industries saying my Skunk2 knob was backordered 3 or 4 weeks. I got a guy up in Nashville with his own shop and he says his supplier in Memphis could get me my Skunk2 Knob Thursday. So, I'm just waiting to get my money put back onto my card and I'm going to get my knob from the guy in Nashville. *Well, I went to the bank to check on my account and they had never charged me so I think I'll go ahead and paypal the guy and get my new knob from him. He has his own online store but he told me to paypal instead since he hasn't got the TennSpeed discount on the on

Oh my friend you haven't seen what people do to these things. Even a old man like yourself we called Santa at the IA Fall meet had a fully blown Civic Si (04-05) that he converted to the Euro-R spec and then some. People take these things seriously. Working on Hondas and Nissans (and to a lesser extent Toyotas) like this is VERY common. People put some serious work, time, and cash into building the engines and making these things look nice. I mean wire tucks, engine swaps, building/rebuilding the engine, taking them to machine shops, porting, hand polishing the head, respraying the body, full

Need Recomendation On 2 Products

Oh I've run mine for hours on end when I didn't feel like using the desktop and it never got hotter than 56C (which for my laptop is perfectly acceptable as well). It kept the same temps the whole time it was running (note that this was after the reapplication of thermal paste to the processor, HP globbed too much on out of the factory). -
I got the last one correct. I've always known that. I knew that every one of these was not what you think. The cat gut one, my parents told me about I just couldn't remember which animal actually was made from. Here's something that can really test your logic Prove Your Logic

Well, I got a response. This weekend I'll be trading the S2000 knob for a Replica Spoon Spoiler and I'll be dropping $95 on a pair of DIY blacked out headlights and a Vogue Silver Metallic grille. Headlights and grille will be coming off this car. As the poor thing sits now. He's rebuilding with a crap ton of new stuff and a new engine. This guy is also friends with my car's previous owner. The previous owner also happens to the bass player in a Grammy nominated band (Paramore).

Well,, I'm using the S2000 knob until the Skunk2 one gets here. My Old one is too long to fit with the new boot on. I like the S2000 knob cause of it's shape, weight, and feel but that 6-speed pattern screwed it up. If it had a 5-speed pattern, I would have just used it. I haven't gotten a response yet from the guy that wants to trade but I may get a new set of headlights off another guy. I may even get a new silver grille from him too. I'll get it painted with the hatch (and maybe the front bumper) and put it on later.

Oh talk about more frickin awesome luck. First, a JDM CTR Shift boot shows up. Then, I discover an S2000 Shift knob in my car and NOW a guy wants to trade the shift knob for a Carbon Fiber Replica Spoon Spoiler. The one I was wanting............ ... I think my head is gonna explode. So I'm finally gonna have some nice parts. A CTR Shift boot, a Skunk2 Shift knob and a Replica Spoon spoiler. Awesomeness. On top of this, I've come across a freakin sweet anime that is one of the funniest I've seen in a while. This season looks pretty good. And on another note I got an AWESOME reaction out of my b

It's got some pretty good knicks. I don't think I can really clean it up. Oh and it's Honda. They go big on their Type R's so the Type R knob is made of Titanium (All JDM Type R's have Recaro Seats, hand finished engines, light weight wheels, and a bunch of other exclusives too). I'm going Skunk2 since the guys over at EK9.org suggested it. They say it's just as good as an OEM EK9 knob if not better.
-
I'm also looking at getting a new shift knob to go with it considering I have my old car's 13 year old Shift knob in it now and it's wore out. JDM EK9 CTR Titanium Shift knob (used) $75 or Skunk2 Stainless Steel Shift Knob (new) $50 They look similar but the the first one is a Real Civic Type R knob. The Skunk2 has their logo etched on to it and it's functional as well (weighted). A Civic Type R owner on EK9.org said he has a Skunk2 in his after his other was stolen. He says he likes it and recommends it so I may go with that one. Up next, a short throw shifter and some other little shift pa

Do you know that actual temps that the Laptop is running. Try using SpeedFan to find out. Mine was overheating bad so I had no choice but to open it and apply new thermal paste to the Processor. It runs far cooler now (Old Idle was above 60C and current idle is around 42C with load temps never breaking 60). As for the OCR, I think the Microsoft app is OneNote cause that's what I see in my Office 2007 folder. I don't use it though cause I type all my notes due to my horrid handwriting. -
My mom ordered a part from Password JDM for Christmas but it was sold out and the ETA was supposed to be in April so my mom canceled the order. Well, a package came in today from Password JDM. It was an authentic JDM Red Stitched Leather EK9 Civic Type R shift boot. An OEM J-spec Civic Type R part straight from Honda of Japan. Awesome I'll put it in tomorrow after the rain stops. And to think I had just put in that EJ1 shift boot.
