  1. My dad sent me these and I thought I'd share.
  2. No offense to any Buckeye fans but my dad sent me this and I thought it was hilarious.
  3. My dad's and my policy on stuff like this: If all else fails, then read the manual.
  4. Actually I had my laptop with the PDF of the manual open trying to figure it out for half an hour. I had tried before but the instructions didn't make since. Finally one step, that would had been very useful was in the wrong place. I finally figured that out and got it working.
  5. well, I can live without the PSU. The computer I was going to put it in is pretty much getting retired once my new rig gets built. My current rig will be used as the TV computer instead of the one I was going to put the PSU into, and the new rig will obviously be my new main one. Right now since the TV rig is acting up, I've just been using my Laptop in it's place anyway. Oh and since it's SATA300, I may just use that booger as my main and buy like a SATA 160GB or 250GB for storage. If you can straighten out the activation on Vista to where I can use it on mine, I might buy it too. This'll sav
  6. HAHA!!!! YES!!! I figured out the auxiliary function of my CD player in the car and now i can run my laptop or MP3 player through my car's sound system AWESOME!!!
  7. my new background for my main rig
  8. is it SATA150 or SATA300? I think I may just get the PSU and HDD. Depending on whether it's 150 or 300 I'll use the drive in my new rig as either my storage drive (150) or main drive (300). I bought an old Samsung IDE 80GB from jimras a long while back and have been using it for storage on my main rig but my new mobo only has one IDE channel and I always use 2 DVD drives so I needs me 2 SATA HDD drives now. I like having a second drive so in the event windows goes sour, I have all my stuff on another drive so I don't mind formating as much (reinstalling all the games is a pain though). so how
  9. is the hard drive SATA and how old is it? and the PSU, is it good and heavy (lookin for a replacement for my flaky MGE PSU in my TV rig). and I might think about the RAM too. Still hmmmm, what's the lowest you'd take for the whole thing cause I could always use spare parts? *is there an OS too?
  10. I've seen it too along with about another 160 animes (no exageration, I watch a lot). I've got the first 2 Limited Edition volumes of Haruhi but I've seen it fansubbed. I have about 400GB of fansubs and about $800-$1000 worth of DVD's, about 20 series worth with some having multiple sets (like Ranma and Gundam Wing).
  11. video card maybe? I don't know. i try EVERY possibility with this one computer I have cause it tends to quite booting a lot so I tear it open and mess with everything until it starts again.
  12. Haha!!! Awesome Lucky Star was great.
  13. OK, I finally, FINALLY fixed my driver side lock. It didn't work on the outside so anytime I locked my doors, I had to unlock the passenger side, get in, reach across and unlock the driver side door. I then had to get back out, walk around and get in. Well, I put a new E-clip on the lock (which was missing). Cause it was missing, the part that connects the key part to the actual lock kept falling off. I also fixed my passenger window AGAIN. It popped out of its track. I got it back in its track, replaced a zip tie with a bolt (I found a bag of the exact bolts I needed in my glove box), tighten
  14. One of my online friends is the owner/admin of EK9.org and he would like some tips on keeping his website secure. Recently a hacker brought his site down for 2 or 3 days and he just got it back up. Since he is in Guatemala, he has a little trouble loading this site so he asked me to ask for him. Thank you for any help.
  15. OK site's back up and me and the admin are talking right now.
  16. Living Colour - Cult of Personality .38 Special - Hold on Loosely Autograph - Turn up the Radio Night Ranger - Sister Christian

  18. with as much as i'm gonna spend on it, I don't think so. It's hard enough for me right now just to save up for a few of the parts. I can't afford any of the parts right now due to a very bad habit of mine (anime DVD's). If it weren't for that, I'd probably have already had the processor and maybe memory by now.
  19. I'm guessing rvm, blinx, and the other admins are getting on it cause it's now just giving a 403. I hope AnimeSuki has there stuff locked down cause they use vBulletin too. Really, I don't know why anyone would want to screw with EK9.org cause it's just small forum for owners and fans of EK9's (JDM 1997-2000 Honda Civic Type R). Some people are just @$$h013$ (< 1337 censoring ).
  20. I was just wondering if anyone has heard of a hacker by the name of Reno. I was going to check one of my favorite forums , EK9.org, and I get this weird looking page saying that the site didn't have security and was hacked by Reno. It was saying stuff like none of the files were deleted and had an email address. This was really strange. Wasn't really sure where to put this so whoever, please move it to where it should if you see fit.
  21. Yeah, normally I like to pick cases that not everyone has but the ratings were so high, I didn't care how popular it was and I'm glad I got it. It's construction is far more solid than that of my Aspire X-Plorer and the side panels have a much smarter design for the rails than other cases I've seen. They go on far more easily than others.
  22. the performance difference isn't big enough to matter and the 5600 uses less power. I was originally gonna 6000 until I found that out.
  23. Well, I believe I've got all the parts for my new gaimg rig picked out. I wanna see what y'all think. I've already got 2 parts of it and am waiting to buy the rest (I am broke as can be right now) Case: Antec Nine Hundred Motherboard: ASUS M2N32-SLI Deluxe Wireless Edition and the parts I plan to buy: Power Supply OCZ GameXStream 700W PSU Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 5600+ Windsor RAM: Crucial Ballistix 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 Video Card: EVGA e-GeForce 8800GT 512MB either that or if I find the cash (or maybe use EVGA's Step-Up program) EVGA e-GeForce 8800GTS (G92) 512MB Hard
