Huh ! I remember when i did both machines, the Dell went off with no problems, got brave and went for the Compaq. What a nightmare that was. No matter what i did I couldn't get SP. 2 to run. Messed up my box so badly, I had to reformat, then i thought to myself....do i really want to go threw this again lol. I had to walk away from my comp, but all worked out after that. Glad it all came togather for ya.

I can tell ya, my time on the net is always good. This is what I find interesting about myself. Ok ! I have 2 comps set up on a small home network with thousands of dollars of software. Games etc. seems like everything I have on both comps I rarely if ever use any of it because I am always surfing the net hanging out on this board or a few others. By the time I am done surfing, I am dead tired and never get around to messing around with the software I own. Another thing is when I am off the comp for say like a day, I get a little screwy in the head. I almost get the shakes from being away fo

Thanks for sharing, Marty. I don't know how Pete puts up with what he does, but he does. To me, being a mod @ G4 is like being a babysitter for kids that just wont do as there told no matter. Damn, B. when I was asked about it....some type of security thing, I hit no. Now everytime I try to get back, i don't get asked anymore. Wow! I am speechless for the second time in my life ever. The first when I got the call my mom passed away this past Tuesday, and now seeing all of the well wishes hear. I am at a loss for words. Sorry to have to report this. My mom died early this morning in the nursing home. She went in her sleep and seems as though she did not suffer. My sister & I as well as my wife went to see her this morning for a short time to say goodbye. Tomorrow at noontime my sister & I have to meet with the funeral director to make final arrangements for my mom. Today is a very sad day for me as all I can do is cry. I sure can't think straight.
