A good friend of mine has just recently broken the "passing fifty" barrier. Much like myself he's having some recent health problems. He has been very much into physical fitness. IE: Biking, running, even marathons. Now he can't do anything due to recent health problems. His new passion is Particle Physics. He told me today that he wants to study more about the subject. Anyone know of some good reading material? New books? He's an M.D . So it doesn't have to be introductory. Thanks, Joe

No. Cold and hot lines are not crossed. There is no cold water within a fifty miles this time of year. City water lines run underground, but because there is no frost line, they are not buried that deep. 18 inches is normal. And the lines from the street to the house are sometimes less than that.
