Jsky, will you marry me? I have to do my own sh***ing....Which according to my Brit Friend, Jane, the "S word' is totally appropriate when used for manure (and she's a Preacher's wife! Boy did I laugh the first time she referred to manure as that "naughty word". The Brits sound so elegant when cussing....) Nearby Sister has horses and they keep me in supply! They get my carrottops, thinned out Queen Anne's Lace and an annual bag of peppermints in return. Good trade! Just caught the weatherguess--yup, 70's in Bozodog's area, but 50's near the Lakeshore (where I'm at) Amazing how we're so c

Echo Echo Echo! It's Spring!! MOST people are outside playing in the gardens and yard! But I must admit and apologise for just doing a quick read to catch up and not posting much. "Nut with a Walker Issues" have had my brain pretty mushy......won't get any better, either; the kids are "officially done with school" and they'll be moving out of their apartment (they have until May 15 to be OUT) so it won't get any less hectic. BUT I'll still read every day! Liz

Happy Birthday, Laxman! Next year is the BIG 5-0, whoo-hoo! Have a wonderful day (and thinking up rotten tricks for a year from now ) Liz

Pete, I've never owned one but my Mom LOVES her pressure cooker! She swears by making stew and mashed potatoes with it and I read that it cans vegetables beautifully (Mom's not a canner). Have fun with it! My Mom also loves her Crock Pot....how's that for opposites? Liz

Hopefully we're moving to a nice warm location with no winter? Anyways, thank you Jeff, for all you do and hope the move doesn't give you any headaches. Echobay!!! Long time no see! You've been missed! Liz -
That's pretty much how Daughter responded! Liz

I sent Bearskin a PM last week and haven't heard back from him yet. Hoping it's as simple as his idiobox broke but I'm getting a bit worried. Bearskin!! It's the wrong time of year to hibernate! Come out, come out, wherever you are! Liz

I am amazed that your dog sleeps in the bathroom, Terrorist! Sandy avoids the bathroom like the plague, especially when someone's in the shower....which is weird since we've never bathed her in the tub. At least I don't have to worry about her drinking from the loo! Beautiful day today but way to windy to play in the gardens. BUT washed pillows, sheets and a comforter and hung them outside on the line! Needed vicegrips instead of clothespins but line dried scented bliss in store for me when I go to bed! Tomorrow's forecast is for rain, but I don't care, it's better than snow! Liz

I read the article about Dell offering consumers a choice in operating systems and I applaud Dell for that! I'm not a computer geek or a gamer, I don't need or want a fancy operating system, so XP is perfect for me (I'm comparing it to Windows98, XP is a pleasure!!) To be honest, for the basic computer user, XP is perfect. Like Barb said, it performs beautifully and when it does act up, it's usually due to someone on the keyboard I honestly am lost why MS decided to replace such a well working operating system! MS would make more profit by just sticking with XP. But then there are other

Wow, that's REALLY good seeing as our HS only has about 350 kids in it. Thanks for checking Disneyworld! I was hoping that since you were in Orlando y'all would go. That's a "can't miss" "They say" skip the "giant golf ball" and do the fun stuff! (the Golf Ball wasn't built last time I went to DWorld) And sunscreen, young man, sunscreen!!! The Florida sun is stronger than it is up here, (been to Florida many times!) and you probably haven't been exposed to the sun since August. Better to return pale than suffer a Florida sunburn. Florida tans fade as quick as you get them anyways...

Nationals??? Wow, congratulations, Siddy and of course good luck! DECA is big at our local HS (hmmm, wonder how for Montague's DECA group made it this year?) The only marketing suggestion I can give is some sort of coupon. "Mrs Potato" LOVES coupons. You're going to do great! Have a wonderful time in Florida, too--don't make it all business and no play! Liz

Oh, I'm so jealous of these projects y'all are doing! We finally got the warm weather back today and I've been busy opening my parent's house (they're returning from Florida sometime between Sunday and Tuesday) and dealing with my "nut with a walker" A LOT! Did walk the dog today, though...she insisted on it! And hanging clothes on the line once again *snifffffff* love the smell of line dried clothes! Hopefully after Sunday I'll get my hands dirty again (Holy Cow! Weatherguesser just guessed 78 degrees for Sunday! Well, it'll be lucky to reach 70 here by the Puddle, but I'll take 70!!) Liz
