http://www.businessweek.com/ap/financialnews/D8LHKBBG0.htm Alright, this irritates me. The kid was driving like a moron, wrecks, dies, and Ford gets blamed? How the hell does an auto manufacure get blamed?!?!?! That's like suing Ford because you rearended someone when your brakes did stop the vehciles in time. Besides, what does $15m have to do with your son dying? I can't believe this jury. They must have fell for the emotional appeal, not the case.

Keep it. It's the thought that counts Thanks for the blessings guys. My birthday went well. I did what I usually do. Stood out in the front yard cursing at Christmas lights

After all of TT's praise I had to give Opera a try a few months back. I got rid of Firefox the same day.

Of course we can't tell the furture. The next 6 years may be flat or their may be another leap in performance. I guess it depends on what you need it for. Right now, even a 10 year old laptop would do everything you'd need it to do for college (office apps, internet browsing, etc) Do you play games? IMO i see no reason not to go ahead and get one now. Just don't cheap out and you should be set for the next 5-6 years. EDIT: Also, for college you may want to put Linux on it anyway. Why even bother with Vista? '

One thing I learned when I first started investing in the stock market is sometimes you just have to cut your losses and get out of a mistake no matter how much it hurts. Maybe it's time to cut your losses, kick your self in the ass, and buy a Ford Really though. IMO replace the clutch, then don't put any more money into the car. Then when it finally dies.... buy a Ford Or for the ultimate stresst reliever take a sledge hammer to it. Not profitable but extremley fun

Windows Not Booting .... Puzzled
Bubba Bob replied to Bubba Bob's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Ok, I need some more help. Although Im enjoying Mandriva, I also need a copy of winders installed to run some Windows only applications. However, my PC still won't install windows. For what ever reason, it never gets past "Setup is Determining your PCs COnfiguration". Last time, once I ereased my C partition, it worked fine. Linux won't let me erease this partition though. Is their some boot disc or something I could use to boot up and erease this partition? -
Well, you are a known spammer after all... I think this is great. One of the larger companies needs to start offering linux though. Then can you imagine how mainstream it would become?

I changed my mind. Im just going to get all the fluid out by disconnecting a hose from the trans cooler while running the car. I decided that's $80 I really didn't have to spend (even though I really wanted to), and that money could be used elsewhere. Like on some nice Royal Purple trans fluid or something....
-
Are you sure you wan't to put so much money into this car? With all the problems, and considering it's age, Id just drive it into the ground to get my monies worth and save up for a better car. But that's just me...
-
Shhhh, not so loud. Bingo! That's why I want this little machine. To get ALL the fluid out. Jiffy Lube... If someone's going to F up my car Id rather is be me
-
EDIT: Whoops, missread. Anyway, getting the fluid out is all Im looking for. Simply draining it would only get around 1/3 the fluid out of course, so Im looking an an inexpensive way to get the rest out. According to the link it comes with tools to remove the trans. fluid through the dipstick tube... I wonder how well that would work?
