Wireless Router W/ Qos Management
Bubba Bob replied to Bubba Bob's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
I was just informed on another forum that QOS management only works when uploading, and will do nothing to control the downstream data. Is this true? -
Wireless Router W/ Qos Management
Bubba Bob replied to Bubba Bob's topic in Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista, and XP
Usually if Im getting garbled sound I hang up and connect my vonage box directly into my cable modem. MOST of the time this does the trick. (meaning one of the PCs is hogging the bandwith) Next time I have problems Ill disconnect the other PCs. Jeeze I wish my cable company offered higher speed packages EDIT: On a side note. I see no real difference in internet speed on the computers while talking, or even while my audio is garbled. If Vonage is the priority I would think the PCs would come to a crawl... EDIT: Also, I can get crystal clear sound through Skype. Much better than vonage, but -
Haha! Snow like that down here? Pfft, i wish. Someone sent it to me. Im not sure where it was taken.

The Mustang is a rear wheel drive vehicle, not front wheel drive... Like the driver thinks.

Hey guys. Ill be leaving in a few days to go visit family for Christmas. Ill be up in deep east Texas, then over to Alabama then to Missippi before returning home again. This will be the first time Ive ever driven hours on end in a car that will hold it's own on the interstate. (with out vibrating to death or losing pieces, ) Since I want to enjoy it w/o being sold any speeding tickets by the freindly tax collectors, I installed a CB radio in my focus. Yeah, it looks kidna hickish, but itll come in handy. I had to install it in the parking lot of a Radio Shack since I live 20 miles away an

Ahh, I see what you mean. I never really thought of blue-ray games, but movies. So far the only BR players ive seen are over $1k. So, for playing BR movies the PS3 is the cheapest way to go.

40 Percent Of Aol Subscribers Don't Own Computers!
Bubba Bob replied to Bubba Bob's topic in The Comedy Club
Which is why it's in "The Comedy Club". Do you really think someone would pay for AOL for "virus" (as in sickness) protection? LOL!! -
AOL Admits 40% of Subscribers Don't Have Computers Leading internet provider America Online (AOL) has confirmed a stunning statistic leaked by a dissatisfied employee last week, in documents sold to Fox News for an undisclosed sum. "While we vigorously condemn the illegal theft of internal company documents, we must admit that they are in fact authentic," said a grim-looking Joe Redley, AOL's chief marketing officer. "Further, the facts as stated in the memos recently released to news organizations are in fact true; namely, that it does appear that a sizeable percentage of AOL subscribers do

Wow, locked into a year of that s$%^ bites. I found this policy on their site. They really give it a positive spin and make it sound like its good for everybody. This really defeats the purpose of having broadband. The minimum package has a download limit of 7,500megabytes, and goes up from there. Have you already gone over this limit?
