Hi Marty! You are going to Canada? Where? That's sounds exciting.Â
Just curious old chachazz the CANADIAN!Â
Â
Â
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
hi chachazz
yes im a memeber of the
NZ section of the world indigenous diabetes assoc.
and our next conference is in Edmonton is this alberta
in sept 2006 .[need all the info i can on edmonton]
10 of us fron NZ
and more if we can raise enough funds
my fare and accom is payed for
but we'd like to take as many as we can
canada happens to have the best record of any country in the world
on diabetes
the resaearch is funded free
and most medication is goverment funded free
last year the conference was held in cairns queens land australia
an we met the canadian reps who we voted to run the next conference
thier reps names were
GINNETE bisson
and KATHLEEN CARDINAL
WHO HAPPEN TO BE PART CREE INDIANS
and beutiful people they were inside and out
one of the worst effected countrys is the usa
and the most affected are their indigenous people 68 per cent
the incidence of amputated limbs is some where about 53 percent
so it is a world wide problem
and becuase it affects the not so well off it is ignored
in my country
cervical cancer is about
0.1 percent but gets 69 percent of the funding
middle class white woman
with affected f-----s
look i could go on and on
but there isnt the space and time
im looking forward to the trip
if you want to hook up to the diabetes wedsite in canada
go to
address .174 hargrave st.174 rue hargrave
winnepeg .manatoba
email/courer.diabetes @cana.ca
and the web site /internet www.nada.ca
thanks for your interest
this pm was sent to the above

Do you know everything?
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Got this in an e-mail -- thought it had some interesting facts -- ones you might or might not know!
Enjoy!
----- ----- ----- ----- -----
For those of you who just thought you knew everything, here's a re-fresher course......
Then you will know everything!!!
The liquid inside young coconuts can be used as a substitute for blood plasma
No piece of paper can be folded in half more than seven (7) times.
Donkeys kill more people annually than plane crashes.
You burn more calories sleeping than you do ! watching television.
Oak trees do not produce acorns until they are fifty (50) years of age or older.
The first product to have a bar code was Wrigley's gum.
The king of hearts is the only king without a mustache.
American Airlines saved $40,000 in 1987 by eliminating one (1) olive from each salad served in first-class.
Venus is the only planet that rotates clockwise.
Apples, not caffeine, are more efficient at waking you up in the morning.
Most dust particles in your house are made from dead skin.
The first owner of the Marlboro Company ! died of lung cancer. So did the first "Marlboro Man.! "
Walt Disney was afraid of mice.
Pearls melt in vinegar.
The three most valuable brand names on earth: Marlboro, Coca Cola, and Budweiser, in that order.
It is possible to lead a cow upstairs...but not downstairs.
A duck's quack doesn't echo, and no one knows why.
Dentists have recommended that a toothbrush be kept at least six (6) feet away from a toilet to avoid airborne particles resulting from the flush.
Richard Millhouse Nixon was the first U.S. president whose name contains all the letters from the word "criminal." The second? William Jefferson Clinton . (Please don't tell me you're SURPRISED!?!!)
And the best for last.....
Turtles can breathe through their rear ends!!
Now you know everything there is to know.
Good night!! I'm going to sleep now, to burn calories. I love that idea

A Doctor was addressing a large audience in Tampa. "The material we put
into our stomach is enough to have killed most of us sitting here, years
ago. Red meat is awful. Soft drinks corrode your stomach lining. Chinese
food is loaded with MSG. High fat diets can be disastrous, and none of
us realizes the long-term harm caused by the germs in our drinking
water. But there is one thing that is the most dangerous of all and we
all have already, or will, eat it.
Can anyone here tell me what food it is that causes the most grief and
suffering for years after eating it?"
After several seconds of quiet, a 75-year-old man in the front row
raised his hand, and softly said, "Wedding Cake."

hi i must mention a little incedence that occured
to counter the flash ads and video ads
i installed a program
called synergitic from
g4
ok this morning i got a notice
reminding me my trial period was over
and i needed to pay from now on .
no where in the website does it say that it is a trial period
it says dowload this program free
i got the link from g4 .
so i unin stalled it and found slimbrowser does exactly the same thing
blocks what ever you want blocked
im a wee bit p-------d of with that false ads
so if any one has a looked at it make sure you know what your in for.
its icon has the yellow cats face in your tray
and a black setter dog
so slimbrowser has come in handy after all
but reading bar5 post i will look into
thanks bar5

in the past i havent been a user of other browsers
other than IE
however ive just installed slimbrowser
and i found it quite fast
it has a messy tool bar
but i need to get used to all that clutter
IE is a better organised setup
weather it is better that way is up to the user.
i cant get used to all this stuff in front of your eyes
ie has a lot of hidden stuff
and i dont intend to pass comment on weather it is better or worse
ive had SB when i was a member of techtv c.f.h
but this is a different slimbrowser from those days
if any one has tips on how to use it
im all eyes
so if i make any boo boo's feel free to correct me
thanks

this is what age does to you
Subject....Aging
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Now that I'm 'older' (but refuse to growup), here's what I've discovered:
I. I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it.
2. My wild oats have turned into prunes and All Bran.
3. I finally got my head together; now my body is falling apart.
4. Funny, I don't remember being absent minded...
4. Funny, I don't remember being absentminded...
5. All reports are in; life is now officially unfair.
6. If all is not lost, where is it?
7. It is easier to get older than it is to get wiser.
8. Some days you're the dog; some days you're the hydrant.
9. I wish the buck stopped here; I sure could use a few...
10. Kids in the back seat cause accidents.
11. Accidents in the back seat cause kids.
12. It's hard to make a comeback when you haven't been anywhere.
13. The only time the world beats a path to your door is when you're in the bathroom.
14. If God wanted me to touch my toes, he would have put them on my knees.
15. When I'm finally holding all the cards, why does everyone decide to play chess?
16. It's not hard to meet expenses...they're everywhere.
17. The only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth.
18. These days, I spend a lot of time thinking about the hereafter ..
I go somewhere to get something and then wonder what I'm here after.
19. I AM UNABLE TO REMEMBER IF I HAVE MAILED THIS TO YOU OR NOT!
20. Funny, I don't remember being, . . .absent minded...
Now I think you're supposed to send thisto 5 or 6, maybe 10, oh send it to a bunch of your friends if you can remember who they are.
Then something is supposed to happen, Ithink. Maybe you get your memo=
