Don't know about the HJT log....but as far the processes running in your system tray...I have a free version of Pest Patrol and if I run it, it will leave it in the system folder when it is complete...When you are done and close it down, it will ask you if you want to disable resident protection....As far as MSN, if you don't want it loaded at startup, there should be an option under properties or something like that to uncheck launch at startup...I you do use it while on-line and then want it to go away after chatting, there should be an exit option... good luck!!

I don't see why not....SP2 is just bundled SP1 patches with a new security center option....You can always uninstall it if there are any problems...but I would wait for some more knowledgeable opinions....

Since I have some slight drain bramage (think I lost some cells in my early 20's...I can't figure out how to use the tags when replying....If anyone has time and patience, can you walk me thru this. Like if I want to add post or reply in a larger font in color...I've tried adding the tags before, and after my text....highlighting the text etc..I know I'm missing something really easy..Thanks for your patience.....

I use Thunderbird for my mail do to the fact that my e-mail is web based. I have optimum online...If I write a note that is too long..it times out (15 minute timeout for security reasons they tell me) so if the note is long, I have to cut it, sign out, sign back in, start a new note and paste the note I started in the first place. The other thing that aggravated me was stupid, but there was no print option and they have no plans on adding one...(Of course CTRL -P works) but it's just the point. As far as the firefox browser...only one I use unless I can't open a page in it and am forced to go

Thanks to Nerelda for walking me thru the sig file photo. My question is that there are so many sites that will host your files for free....I want to make sure I use a safe one.. Don't want to go to a scam site...get ad ware ..bring it to the board etc...any suggestions from what you all use?? Thanks for the help!!
