Hi rv56, DCC = Direct Client to Client connection. This can be used to chat securely from computer to computer, or it is also used to transfer files from one computer to another. If you are having troubles with your DCC, check our DCC Help File for more information. Hope that helps. The reason you don't want to accept them randomly unless you know that someone is sending you something is because that's how you can get trojans and stuff. If you use the java applet I don't think you have to worry about DCC's only if you use a real IRC chat client. B

Well, I wouldn't uninstall it because you never know if you might need it and it doesn't take up that much room. But you can disable it from starting up if you want. Use a program like CodeStuff Starter and disable it from starting up. CodeStuff Starter Free and works really great. B

Hi, If you put something in the recycle bin and then remove it the file is not gone 100%. It's more like ripping the table of contents out of book. It's there you just can't find it easily. So I recommend you use a program like eraser, or something like that to completely erase the files. Eraser Free and works well. Next Window Washer will completely erase your tracks it does what Eraser does for files just it removes internet stuff. B

Hi JSKY, Well, there a few things you could use to do that at the bottoom of a post you will see the forum in which is came from in this case the forum is sugesstions. You will see a link that says suggestions. If you click that you will go back to the suggesstions forum. There is also something at the bottom under the add reply, fast reply, new topic, and new poll. It says the forum you are in and then has a "Go" button.
